State Rep Rick Roth Enters Race for Chair of Local Republican Party
State Representative Rick Roth has announced he is entering the race for Chair of the Republican Executive Committee of Palm Beach County.

Roth brings a tremendous amount of experience and gravitas to this position. He is currently in his fourth and final term in the Florida House due to term limits. Roth has been deeply involved with his constituents for the seven years he has been in office. He has recognized their needs and taken action. One example is the need for affordable housing in the county. Roth advocated for funding the Sadowski fund when it wasn’t a priority in the Florida legislature. The 2023 session made affordable housing a priority issue and Palm Beach County is well-positioned for more housing as a result, due in no small part to Roth’s efforts.

Roth is a proven leader in the Florida House. He strongly advocates for four key areas critical to Palm Beach County citizens; affordable housing, adoption, water and land conservation, and food production for charitable food banks. His goal is to make government more transparent, accountable, and consistent.
Roth stated;
I want to help Republican candidates run in 2024. I’ve been on both sides of a campaign and know what it takes to win. This is a golden opportunity to use my unique experience as both an elected official and a candidate to help the Republican Party win big in Palm Beach County in 2024 and beyond. I have worked closely with REC members to get out the vote. And have mentored candidates who have run locally. Republicans won three seats locally that many thought were unwinnable. Our success with Sara Baxter and Marci Woodward for county commission and Peggy Gossett-Seidman for State Representative show the power of grassroots efforts by the local party. I am confident that as chair, I will be able to improve recruitment efforts and bring in candidates who are committed to our America First Strategy to grow our economy, support parental rights in education, fund school choice, and fund environmental projects. I can grow and mobilize our REC troops, find a job for each REC member, and help candidates win elections.
Roth is a salt of the earth type who believes in our America First values of God, family, and country. Chairing the local Republican Party makes sense for this second-generation Belle Glade farmer who has been a farmer in Palm Beach County for over forty-five years. He and his wife Jeannie have three grown children and now grandchildren.

On the county level, Roth is a board member and former president of West Palm Beach County Farm Bureau (WPBSFB), a board member of Sugarcane Growers Cooperative, a member of Palm Beach County Ag Enhancement Council, former president of the Florida Rice Council, and many more organizations. Additionally, he has won several awards, such as Palm Beach County Conservationist of the Year.
Roth is a family man, a proven job creator, a respected state legislator, and a leader who knows how to win elections. Rick Roth’s proven purpose-driven results and experience make him a serious contender for Chair of the Palm Beach County Republican Executive Committee.
