Longtime advocate lied about vets getting kicked out of NY hotels for migrants: pol
A New York non-profit has reported that more than a dozen low-income veterans are being booted from the hotels where they stayed – in favor of migrants who cheated the immigration system and illegally or dishonestly entered the United States.
The mistreatment of struggling veterans results from New York City’s horrific mismanagement of the migrant crisis, resulting in Mayor Eric Adams bussing migrants to nearby Rockland County. Rockland has become ground zero of the migrant crisis after Adam’s poor management and migrant importing caused financial ruin.

While the migrants are receiving free housing, the non-profit that reported the displacement of the veterans had to act quickly to prevent the former servicemen from going homeless.
Rockland County Executive Ed Day is furious over Adam’s metastasizing migrant crisis, saying that “he never asked for an opinion; he just said, ‘Screw you, Rockland County.'” The 15 veterans are just a handful of those displaced by migrants – more than 300 are expected to be housed in Rockland County hotels according to the Big Apple’s plan.
Day has been trying to resist the migrant invasion to little avail. Aside from outright deportation, there seems to be no solution for New York that doesn’t involve horrific budget cuts and the mistreatment of hard-working American citizens.

“Within that cadre of people who are coming here, who are not vetted, we have child rapists, we have criminals, we have MS-13,” Day said on a local radio show, “there’s a reason why there’s a process.”
Day, like many of his border-adjacent counterparts currently experiencing the crisis, declared a state of emergency on Saturday in an attempt to halt the migrant invasion. Other New York counties hoping to avoid the financial havoc the migrants wreak are doing the same.
The New York City migrant relocation plan will also see the placement of migrants inside a former – but still used – police academy building, something a Manhattan cop said is a “security nightmare.”
Official New York City statements say they’re only shipping 300 migrants upstate – a threshold that city officials will likely break as they attempt to rehouse the asylum seekers and illegal immigrants that came for NYC’s now-floundering social services.

The conservative movement has had a reaction to that of Ed Day: outright fury. The son of President Trump, Donald Trump Jr., made fiery remarks to the left for their mistreatment of veterans and radical open-border policies.
“Honestly, this is just infuriating! Homeless vets are being booted from New York hotels to make room for migrants. F*ck Democrats & their bullsh*t policies! America last isn’t hyperbole it’s their goal.”
Other commenters have expressed a lack of surprise given the radical pro-open-borders shift that overtook the Democratic Party during the Trump Administration.

The expiration of Title 42 and Biden’s sentimental pro-migrant rhetoric have inspired millions to trek toward the United States.
Tens of thousands of migrants have already flooded over the US border, according to official ICE and DHS estimates.
