Almost one million migrants are surging toward the US southern border in anticipation of the Trump-era Title 42 expiring, according to Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs.
Speaking to Steve Bannon on the War Room podcast, Biggs warned that border patrol didn’t have enough resources to handle the imminent crisis – and would likely “catch” the migrants before releasing them into American communities. The Republican House Member then alleged that “CBP members are telling locals ‘I’m sorry, you’re screwed.'”

Title 42 was a pandemic-era policy that gave unprecedented power to the President to deport illegal immigrants and ‘asylum seekers’ in the name of preventing disease transmission.
Before Title 42, the US could not decisively deport illegal aliens if they claimed they were ‘asylum seekers.’ Assuming no action is taken by the White House or Congress, this will again become US policy – thereby encouraging the millions who seek to flood over the border and illegally utilize America’s social safety net and vast resources.
Title 42 is planned to expire on May 10th.

President Biden ordered a measly 1,500 soldiers to the border to support ICE authorities – a move that has drawn sharp criticism from the increasingly popular open-borders wing of the Democrats. “There is already a humanitarian crisis in the Western Hemisphere,” said New Jersey Democrat Bob Menendez, “and deploying military personnel only signals that migrants are a threat that requires our nation’s troops to contain. Nothing could be further from the truth.” Menendez then laughably claimed that Biden was “militarizing” the almost wide-open southern border.
Over 70,000 Americans died from Fentanyl that came over the southern border in 2021 alone.

Despite the surge only trickling into the US so far, the mayor of El-Paso was forced to declare a state of emergency. At the same time, the city tries to cope with unprecedented numbers of illegal immigrants.

According to border patrol, more than 3 million migrants have been allowed to cross into Texas since 2021 – bringing crime, drugs, and increasingly severe strain on America’s floundering welfare programs and crumbling cities.

Republicans have come out in universal condemnation of the Biden administration ahead of the border crisis. Texas Senator Ted Cruz had harsh words for the 80-year-old commander-in-chief.
“We’ve seen over 6 million illegal aliens storm across the southern border in 2.5 years under Joe Biden’s leadership. This is the direct result of his political decision to open our borders.”
Libertarian Influencer Tomi Lahren claimed to have spoken with border patrol, who she said offered a grim diagnosis of the situation.
“Just spoke with a border patrol agent from the El Centro sector. He told me that they have been given absolutely no plan for processing these people storming in when title 42 expires. This is going to be a legit shit show. This isn’t even going to be catch and release. Just release.”
