Trans Kid of Top Dem Gets One Year Probation For Assaulting Cop, Defacing Monument

Massachusetts Congresswoman Katherine Clark’s biologically male, trans-identifying son has been sentenced to one year of probation following an Antifa-style attack in January where he assaulted a police officer and spray-painted leftist slogans during an anti-cop riot. Jared Dowell, who now goes by “Riley,” resisted arrest after graffitiing “STOP COP CITY” and “ACAB” on a monument in the Boston Common. In exchange for having his case dropped, he has been ordered to write a letter of apology to the officer, complete 30 hours of community service, continue with his therapy sessions, and pay for the damages done to the monument.

According to NBC 10, police responded to roughly 20 protesters in the Boston Common during the January riot, where they found Dowell defacing the Parkman Bandstand Monument. When officers moved to intervene, the rioters reportedly surrounded them “while screaming profanities though megaphones on the public street, causing traffic to come to a standstill.” When they attempted to arrest Dowell, the trans rioter struck an officer in the face, causing him to bleed from the nose and mouth.

After news of the arrest spread, Clark issued a statement saying,

“Last night, my daughter was arrested in Boston, Massachusetts. I love Riley, and this is a very difficult time in the cycle of joy and pain in parenting. This will be evaluated by the legal system, and I am confident in that process.”

Clark, the Democrat House Minority Whip, has long been an outspoken advocate of trans ideology.

Just two days after transgender shooter Audrey Hale killed six people in a Christian elementary last March, Clark spoke before Congress. He decried “politicians and preachers” for their “vitriol and cruelty” towards transgender people.

“I rise in honor of trans joy that deserves to be celebrated, not eradicated. I rise with unconditional love for my trans daughter, Riley, and I rise in solidarity with every trans-American seeking nothing less than their inalienable right to the pursuit of happiness,” Clark told lawmakers.
“To stand in the way of that right is to stand against our most basic American values, but that’s exactly what MAGA extremists are doing across this country on school boards, in state capitols, here in the halls of Congress. They’re using their power to undermine the freedoms and human dignity of trans Americans. And they’re waging an especially vicious crusade on our kids.”
