A California high school student shredded her local school district in a fiery speech after they allowed a biologically male student to use the girl’s locker room, after which he proceeded to assault a female student. Video of the altercation went viral in April, showing the towering trans-identifying student shove a girl to the ground before pummeling her. Martin Luther King High School said they addressed the incident “expeditiously,” with the trans student reportedly being removed from the school. Now, student Megan Simpkins is speaking out and taking a torch to trans ideology in the process.
“Hello, ladies and gentlemen– and only ladies and gentlemen, it is and shall always be,” Simpkins began.
“There was an incident within our district that occurred recently regarding a transgender woman, who really is a biological man, having an altercation with a young woman at MLK High School.
It was infuriating when I had seen the video on social media, but what was detrimental to this is the fact that this man is and has been using the women’s restroom and locker room.”

Video of the altercation published last month showed a brawl between the massive trans student and two girls, one of whom was beaten to the ground. As Florida Jolt reported, the biologically male student is said to have had a lengthy and troubled history at the school, previously fighting with other students and even spitting on his female classmates. Families of the students described it as “erratic and uncomfortable behavior.”
“He’s [in the] girls’ locker room, using girls’ restrooms,” student Aiden Vermeir told FOX 11 at the time, before adding that “He shows his genitals in the locker room.”
Simpkins, who is 18 years old, questioned the school board about why they placed one student’s “mental confusion” above women’s safety.
“Firstly, the question we must address is why are we affirming the mental confusion of this boy and putting the safety of women in jeopardy by allowing mentally confused men to use women’s spaces?”

“Of course, any male who claims he is a woman will accept it, but what about the women?” Simpkins asked.
“What about the true girls like myself who are females down to our DNA? Why don’t we ever get a say in whether or not we are comfortable with this?
The truth is we aren’t, the majority of us aren’t, and yet nothing has been done to protect the safety of these women. I will conclude with this it all starts with you. You are in charge of the safety of us women. “
“Please do something about it. Thank you,” she added, receiving cheers and applause from the audience.
After the video of the assault went viral on social media, Riverside Unified School District confirmed that the Trans student had been expelled,
“A video depicting an altercation involving students at Martin Luther King High School has been widely circulated on social media this week…
Since the incident occurred, District staff has been working to ensure the safety and rights of all students are considered and promptly responded to. We are able to verify that the student involved will no longer be attending King High School.”
