Florida Man Drives SUV into Ex-Wife’s Home
Florida man Nisan Ortega is in the Orange County Jail after he rammed his SUV into the home of his ex-wife Ingrid Alas while it was occupied by a total of 7 people including little children.
Deputies say Ortega arrived at the home and was intoxicated. He banged on the door of the home around 2 a.m. Monday morning looking for his ex-wife Ingrid Alas.

Alas said Ortega tried to open the door and force his way in. When they didn’t let him in, Alas said Ortega went back to his car. She grabbed their two children and her cousin’s children and ran outside of the home.
Deputies said Ortega then rammed his car into the back of a car in the driveway before ramming it directly into the home. If someone would have been on the other side of that wall, he would have killed them, Alas said.
The family forced Ortega out of the home months ago after they say he became more violent and started drinking. According to deputies, Ortega had been drinking the morning of the incident.
Ortega’s son, 15-year-old Jonathan, said the family had grown accustomed to his violent behavior. He said he feels bad for his mother who often cries. The family has been living in the United States for 3 years now after leaving Honduras. The family says they will stay with friends, and they have already started fixing the damaged wall and plan to continue living in the rental home after repairs are done.
