Trump Warns ‘Hopeless’ Joe Biden is Leading U.S. to ‘Oblivion’ – ‘World War III is Looming’

Former president Donald Trump railed against the Biden administration’s reckless Ukraine policy on Saturday, warning that the United States may soon be dragged into World War III. Trump’s comments follow a renewed commitment by Joe Biden to fund Ukraine for “as long as it takes.”

“World War III is looming, like never before, in the very dark and murky background,” the former president wrote on his Truth Social account. “‘Leadership’ is solely responsible for this unprecedented danger to the USA, and likewise, the World. HOPELESS JOE BIDEN IS LEADING US INTO OBLIVION!!!”

Since announcing his 2024 presidential bid in November, Trump has harshly criticized the Biden administration’s handling of the Ukraine war. During a January campaign stop in South Carolina, Trump remarked that,

“Through weakness and incompetence, Joe Biden has brought us to the brink of World War III. We’re at the brink of World War III, just in case anybody doesn’t know it. As president, I will bring back peace through strength.”

Friday marked the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Days prior, Biden traveled to the capital of Kyiv and offered the embattled country an additional $500 million in aid. Senior officials have been questioned about the limits of U.S. involvement in the conflict, but both White House and Pentagon spokesmen have repeated Biden’s vague promise of “as long as it takes.”

“World War III has never been closer than it is right now,” Trump said in a Tuesday address. “We need to clean house of all of the warmongers and America-Last globalists in the Deep State, the Pentagon, the State Department, and the national security industrial complex.”

“One of the reasons I was the only president in generations who didn’t start a war is that I was the only president who rejected the catastrophic advice of many of Washington’s Generals, bureaucrats, and the so-called diplomats who only know how to get us into conflict, but they don’t know how to get us out.”

In his address, Trump named American diplomat Victoria Nuland as a driving force behind the runaway escalation in Ukraine. Trump called her “obsessed” with pushing Ukraine to join NATO, saying she and others in the State Department supported the 2014 revolution in Ukraine that saw the country’s pro-Russian government ousted.

Nuland has called for a demilitarization of Crimea “at a minimum,” which has been under the control of Russia for nearly nine years. Despite contributing more than $113 billion to the Ukrainian war effort, the U.S. has declined to set clear objectives.

“None of this excuses in any way the outrageous and horrible invasion of Ukraine one year ago,” Trump said. “But it does mean that here in America, we need to get rid of the corrupt globalist establishment that has botched every major foreign policy decision for decades.”

“That includes President Biden, whose own people said he’s never made a good decision when it comes to looking at other countries and looking at wars. We have to replace them with people who support American interests.”

“At the end of my next four years, the warmongers, and frauds, and failures in the senior ranks of our government will all be gone,” Trump stated, vowing to retake the White House in 2024. “And we will have a new group of competent national security officials who believe in defending America’s vital interests above all else.”
