The Los Angeles Dodgers caved into the anti-Catholic ‘Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’ trans nuns after they pushed back against the Dodger’s decision to revoke their invitation.
Their invitation, which was initially set for them to participate in the Dodgers’ pride night on June 16th, was revoked on May 18th after pressure from catholic groups, especially from Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, who described the trans group as ‘bigoted’ since the group performs ‘sodomy while dressed as [N]uns.’
The Dodgers then decided to re-invite the controversial trans group after the team received criticism from the trans group and other members of the LGBTQ community.
On Monday night, the Dodgers made an official statement regarding the re-invitation of the group.
After much thoughtful feedback from our diverse communities, honest conversations within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and generous discussions with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Los Angeles Dodgers would like to offer our sincerest apologies to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, members of the LGBTQ+ community and their friends and families.
We have asked the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to take their place on the field at our 10th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night on June 16th. We are pleased to share that they have agreed to receive the gratitude of our collective communities for the lifesaving work that they have done tirelessly for decades.
In the weeks ahead, we will continue to work with our LGBTQ+ partners to better educate ourselves, find ways to strengthen the ties that bind and use our platform to support all of our fans who make up the diversity of the Dodgers family.

The most satisfied group within this controversy is the ‘Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’ member Sister Roma, who cheered on the news and claimed that they were a new fan of the Dodgers, even though they immediately said afterward that they were ‘still rooting for the [San Francisco Giants].’
