Eva Longoria, a well-known Latina actress, democrat activist, and director featured in shows such as ‘Desperate Housewives and the TV show ‘Black-ish’ in which she directed some episodes, was the President’s latest groping victim after she was a guest speaker at a white house event.
The event on Thursday night was meant to screen Longoria’s debut film ‘Flamin’ Hot.’ This film she directed is considered a ‘feel-good’ story about a Mexican janitor named Richard Montañez convincing his bosses at the Frito Lay company to invent the ‘Flamin’ Hot’ flavor of Frito Lay’s Cheeto snack.
Although there are doubts about the authenticity of Montañez’s story, the White House decided to screen the film anyway, explaining to the AP that ‘it is not a documentary and was shown to give Americans from different backgrounds a chance to see themselves reflected in film and celebrated by the president, as was done with other movie screenings this year.’

In a speech on the White House Lawn, Longoria explains how this story ‘celebrates the American entrepreneurial dream.’

However, before her speech began, things got a little weird. When President Biden goes in for a hug, they embrace, and afterward, Biden keeps both his hands on her upper midriff for an extended period. Biden then starts lowering his hands slightly towards her chest before she pushes his hands off her.

Many Twitter users quickly reacted to the bizarre but familiar incident, with many simply saying how gross and creepy this interaction was. Other users responded in a more thought-out way, with one user writing out how this interaction would have been taken differently if Trump was the one to grope the actress while simultaneously calling out media hypocrisy.
The media won’t call him out publicly for trying to grope her, but just imagine the outcry if Trump had tried this.

Another user reacting to the incident decided to hone in on Biden’s facial expressions, with the user writing what Biden was thinking during and after the actress pushed his hands away.

Before the groping incident, Biden went to begin his speech, with the 80-year-old Commander-In-Chief using the joke ‘I’m Jill Biden’s Husband,’ a statement he says almost every time he starts a speech.
He then says another ‘joke’ that he had known Longoria for ‘a very long time,’ stating the age gap between the two when he allegedly met her. As the reactions tell, Biden’s statement does not sit well with many Americans.

This alleged joke and Biden’s groping attempt led many Americans to react in a shocked and disgusted way, with one user simply replying that the President is a ‘nasty pervert.’ Other users called him names such as ‘weird’ and an ’embarrassment’ among many other insulting names.
It is unclear at this time if the White House has any plans to issue a statement about the attempted groping from the President.
