BizPac endorses Michelle McGovern for County Commission District 6
BizPac, the voice of business in Palm Beach County, is endorsing Michelle McGovern over Matt Willhite and Sylvia Sharps in the Democratic Primary for County Commission District 6.
McGovern is currently the Director of Government and Community Relations for Baptist Health South Florida and previously worked as the State Director for U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson.
McGovern is a mother of two and married to the Vice-Mayor of the Village of Wellington, John McGovern.
I’m excited to have earned the endorsement of BIZPAC in my campaign for Palm Beach County Commission District 6.
BIZPAC knows what it takes to ensure our county remains a vibrant place to create jobs and grow the economy as the voice of business. As a candidate with diverse public and private experience, I’m committed to supporting Palm Beach County job creators and championing intelligent economic policies.
Together, we are creating a winning coalition of families, business leaders, law enforcement professionals, and community advocates to move us towards victory in August. – Michelle McGovern
The winner of the Democratic primary election on August 23 will most likely face off against Republican Sara Baxter in the general election on November 8.
BizPac is a non-partisan organization, and its only criteria for supporting a candidate is whether or not the person understands and is genuinely concerned with the needs of the business community.
