Target Sells Trans Clothing to Children Designed by Satanic Transgender

Target was already facing calls for a boycott over “tuck-friendly” bathing suits and chest binders for “transgender” children, but now they’re also selling clothing items from a self-professedly satanic transgender designer that promotes drugs and violence.

The brand in question, Abprallen, was created by a biological woman who identifies as a man and goes by the name “Erik Callen.” Items sold in the famous department store include “We Belong Everywhere” and “Too Queer For Here” messenger bags and “Cure Transphobia, Not Trans People” sweatshirts. Ironically, another pin read, “Sorry your cis, get well soon.”

“All items were designed for all bodies, regardless of gender identity and presentation. We added design features to help make the fit customizable for you.” Target said in the description for the items. “Our hope is for all guests to find clothing that makes them feel comfortable and affirmed in their identity. We understand that fit is incredibly important and will continue to evolve and improve on fit needs for the LGBTQIA+ Community.”

Callen’s commentary on the product line clarified that the designs are aimed at children and sent them a particular message about their gender confusion.

“Available in Target stores and on their website. When they approached me to design a range for Pride I realised that I had an opportunity to create something huge, I was given a chance to make work that would be seen by countless people and I wanted to ensure that any young people who saw Abprallen in Target would know that who they are is beautiful, purposeful, and worth expressing……I imagined what it would be like for a younger version of myself to see something more specific, more tailor made than a lacklustre rainbow flag. I wanted to create a range that would embrace younger me and tell him that who he is is more than OK, that being trans is special and wonderful and that the closet is not made for him to thrive in.”

Clothes designs included shirts featuring skeletons and goats, with catchphrases like “Join my Gay Cult” and “Satan Respects Pronouns.” One of Callen’s Instagram captions embraced Satan as similarly going against God’s will.

Callen also designed pins to be sold at the major retailer. The pins included phrases like “We back back” on a heart-shaped morning star, “heteronormativity is a plague” on a plague doctor mask, “times up for transphobes” on a skeletal hourglass, “burn the cis-tem,” and “Trans witches for abortion on a simple circle.” One pin even showed a guillotine labeled “homophobe headrest.”

This tone in design tracks with the designer. Callen made clear she was overjoyed by the fact her designs upset those looking to shield children from modern gender theory, calling them “transphobes.”

“These have already got the transphobes infuriated with me and I feel like quite the celebrity to think that they believe this is all some big conspiracy and I have any power to brainwash anyone when I’m just some guy drawing pictures!”

Callen’s claims of harmlessness were not entertained by Twitter observers, who quickly called for boycotts of Target and the product line.
