According to Miami-Dade police, on Thursday evening at around 9:30 p.m., Perry attempted to assault a woman at the Dade County Glade Park & Ride transit station, with the incident beginning on a county bus.
The incident began when police said Perry tried to start a conversation with the victim while riding on the Dade County mass transit bus. The woman/future victim didn’t want to talk to Perry and told him so. Perry started his attack as soon as the victim exited the bus at the Glade Park & Ride. Perry pushed the victim down to the ground and started pulling her pants down.
According to the arrest report, “The defendant (Perry) had pushed her and smacked her on the buttocks and attempted to pull her pants off.”

Miami-Dade Police Officers responded, and as soon as they arrived, they were able to catch Perry as he was trying to flee the area on another bus. Perry didn’t go quietly; however, when the officers went to place him into custody, the fight was on!
Perry was determined not to go to jail and violently resisted arrest. According to the arrest affidavit, it took numerous officers to take Perry to the ground and handcuff him. Police say he suffered a facial injury while resisting the officers. Perry is seen in his mugshot with his yellow shirt partially soaked with blood due to resisting arrest.
Perry was transported to the Dade County jail and charged with resisting an officer without violence, and battery. He is being held on a $2,500 bond.
I know you’re shocked to hear this, but Perry has an extensive criminal history. Unfortunately, this type of crime will continue until criminals are held accountable. Miami-Dade police are urging anyone who thinks they have been victimized by Perry to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
