Bezos Invests in Florida, and Lab-Grown Meat-DeSantis Bans It

Jeff Bezos moved to Fla. and invested $60M into lab-grown meat — then Ron DeSantis banned it. Some people have been labeled as conspiracy theorists for suggesting that “they” want to control us by portioning out food and controlling the amount and type available to us. Many have joked about the possibility that we could eat bugs or create Frankenfood, but it turns out that in a “Soylent Green” twist of fate, the theory may be more true to life than many had thought. Luckily, Florida has said no to this madness, and Governor DeSantis has banned lab-grown food.

According to the NY Post,

DeSantis signed the legislation, SB 1084, into effect on May 1, casting it as a bid to stop the World Economic Forum’s goal of forcing the world to eat lab-grown meat and insects, “an overlooked source of protein.”

The governor’s office added, “Florida is increasing meat production and encouraging residents to continue to consume and enjoy 100% real Florida beef.”

DeSantis previously has blasted “the global elite’s plan to force the world to eat meat grown in a petri dish or bugs to achieve their authoritarian goals.”

According to Jeff Bezos’s fiancé Lauren Sanchez,

We need to feed 10 billion people with healthy, sustainable food throughout this century while protecting our planet. We can do it, and it will require a ton of innovation,” Sanchez wrote in a statement announcing the $60 million investment.

Florida Jolt has extensively reported the atrocious, sci-fi, dystopian lab-grown Frankenfood phenomenon.

The USA is the second country to approve the sale of lab-grown chicken, otherwise known in limousine liberal speak as “cultivated chicken.” In keeping with elitist, progressive ideas of what’s good for you, this chicken is prohibitively expensive, but you should eat it because it’s good for the environment. Will anyone buy this overpriced, “environmentally friendly,” virtue-signaling Frankenfood, or will the general public who looks at prices say no to this bespoke bullshit? ~Tracy Caruso, FL Editor at Large

The NY Post goes on to explain.

According to the science magazine Scientific American, the US Department of Agriculture granted its first-ever approval of cell-cultured meat produced by two companies, GOOD Meat and UPSIDE Foods, last June — less than a year after the Food and Drug Administration declared the companies’ products safe to eat.

DeSantis SB 1084, which will take effect on May 1, will stop the World Economic Forum’s goal of forcing the world to eat lab-grown meat and insects, “an overlooked source of protein,” according to a news release on the legislation.

Bezos and DeSantis’s clashing opinions on the lab-grown meat industry are coming to light shortly after the 60-year-old tech billionaire moved from Seattle, near Amazon’s headquarters, to Miami, closer to his space exploration firm Blue Origin’s home base.

Bezos purchased three mansions. It appears that he’s heard about how great it is to live in the free state of Florida. What he didn’t realize is that although Florida welcomes new businesses and new residents with open arms, we don’t welcome their bug-eating, supposed environmentally friendly brand of liberalism.

The big message to Bezos and anyone else planning on moving to Florida is that if you’re moving to our state, be aware that our residents aren’t giving up our guns, our real meat, or anything else about our way of life.
