The celebratory inaugural ball for Governor Ron Desantis was held at the Donald Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee. It did not disappoint.
Everyone went all out in back tie. Men wore tuxedos, and many women wore ballgowns. It was such a pleasure to see everyone looking so beautiful and happy.
The Governor danced with his wife Casey, everyone’s favorite first lady, and he enjoyed every well-deserved moment.

What struck me about this event was the difference between this and the same event four years ago. I went to the newly elected Governor Ron DeSantis’s ball then. The tone was very different. It was friendly but serious and felt like a networking event.
This ball was entirely different. The attendees doubled from four years ago and were all genuinely celebrating. It felt like everyone in the world was there. They were laughing and smiling. Many people were dancing. Granted, they were dancing in a somewhat embarrassing manner, including yours truly, but no one cared, an accurate indication of people having fun.
