Twenty-one candidates will enter the steel cage for a battle royale, but only two will emerge victorious.
I didn’t think anyone expected this many candidates to qualify, but 2022 is what it is.
In Congressional District 22, incumbent Rep. Lois Frankel, D-West Palm Beach, gets a free ride from her fellow Democrats. She has no primary opponent and can focus on the general election in November.
Five Republicans will have to fight it out to see who gets to take Frankel on in her D+14 District.
In Congressional District 23, Jared Moskowitz has five democrats to beat in the primary, and while this is an open seat, Moskowitz is the heavy favorite.
Seven Republicans are in the primary for this D+9 seat.
Two NPA’s also qualified.
