FL Surgeon General Ladapo Warns Against Latest COVID Jab – ‘A Lot of Red Flags’

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo issued a stern warning against the latest round of COVID-19 booster shots. At Thursday’s “Mandate Freedom” press conference in Jacksonville, Ladapo urged Floridians to treat the newest vaccine dose skeptically, arguing that it lacked supporting evidence and showed “a lot of red flags.”

The latest jab is expected to become available next month to protect against the BA.2.86 omicron subvariant. The Food and Drug Administration has not yet approved it.

“There’s a new vaccine that’s coming around the corner, a new mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, and there’s essentially no evidence for it,” Ladapo said at the press conference.

“There’s been no clinical trial done in human beings showing that it benefits people. There’s been no clinical trial showing that it is a safe product for people. And not only that, but then there are a lot of red flags.”

Ladapo also warned that the new round of vaccines could potentially cause harmful side effects, including damage to the heart.

“These new RNA COVID-19 vaccines include the fact that they actually cause cardiac injury in many people … call it subclinical myocarditis, its clinical significance is really unknown,”

Experts have acknowledged that the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines can cause myocarditis–the inflammation of the heart muscles–in rare instances.

Ladapo urged residents to consult their “resonance of truth” when deciding whether to get the booster shot rather than relying on “very educated people” to tell them what to think.

“Remember that experience of hearing these very educated people telling you what you should think but then listening inside to what makes sense, right? What feels right. You know what feels like truth,”

The Florida Surgeon General also appealed to residents’ ‘spirituality,’ suggesting they remain open to listening to their gut sense. Ladapo argued that those feelings can sometimes be a sign from God.

“We’re all in different points in our spiritual journeys, but we all have that connection at some level. And when they try to convince you to be comfortable and agree with things that don’t feel comfortable, and don’t feel like things you should agree with, that is a sign … That’s a gift that’s one of that’s something that we’re endowed with from our Creator.”

Governor Ron DeSantis also appeared at Thursday’s press conference, warning the public about a renewed effort to bring back the COVID-19 lockdowns amid a spike in cases.

“People are lurching toward this insanity again,” DeSantis said.

“As we see this stuff being orchestrated, trying to shove down people’s throats, there needs to be pushback. Because there wasn’t pushback back in March of 2020.”

“You are protected, so you don’t have to worry about it,” DeSantis told Floridians. “But if you’re in another jurisdiction, do not comply with this nonsense. Stand up for your rights and stand up for yourself.”

That same day, DeSantis’s campaign sent an email to supporters pledging to “fight back against every bogus attempt the Left makes to expand government control.”
