‘Comrade Kamala’ Panicking, Losing Momentum in Blue States
Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris is going on the defensive this week, with her campaign retreating to the historically blue states of New Hampshire, Virginia, and Minnesota. Harris will hold rallies in these states this week as her opponent, Donald Trump, picks up momentum.
It is a sign that the three states–which include Democratic running mate Tim Walz’s home base–may once again be competitive for the 2024 general election.
“Comrade Kamala Harris sees there are problems for her campaign in New Hampshire because of the fact that they disrespected it in their primary and never showed up,” former President Donald Trump posted to Truth Social on Tuesday. With just under nine weeks to go until election day, both candidates are in a sprint to the finish line.
“Additionally, the cost of living in New Hampshire is through the roof, their energy bills are some of highest in the country, and their housing market is the most unaffordable in history. I protected New Hampshire’s First-In-The-Nation Primary and ALWAYS will! To my friends in New Hampshire, get out and vote TRUMP. Together, we will make your State and America Strong, Safe, and Prosperous AGAIN!” ~ Donald Trump via Truth Social.

While Harris will spend her week attempting to fortify a handful of Democratic-leaning states, the Trump-Vance ticket will go on the offensive, dividing their time between Arizona and Wisconsin. This week, a statement from Trump’s campaign accused Harris of “panicking” as she turned her efforts away from states like Georgia and Michigan.
“In yet another example of Kamala’s rhetoric not matching her actions, Kamala is campaigning in Virginia, New Hampshire, and Minnesota this week. Why? Because President Trump is expanding the electoral map, and Kamala is panicking,” the campaign said.
“Notably, Kamala has fallen in the polls – including [in] Minnesota – since picking failed governor Timothy Walz as her running mate. It’s no wonder as to why: Kamala’s failed, weak, and dangerously liberal agenda has failed the people of New Hampshire, Minnesota, and Virginia.” ~ The Trump Campaign via the Palm Beach Playbook

Still, according to RealClearPolitics, the two Presidential nominees remain neck-and-neck in national polling, with Harris leading by less than two points nationally.
However, leading pollster Nate Silver currently gives Trump a 55 percent chance of winning the election, with Harris losing her lead over the past two weeks.
“Try as they might, Kamala and her campaign can’t help a basic fact: Day 1 was almost four years ago,” Trump senior advisor Brian Hughes said Tuesday.
“Thanks to Kamala Harris, Americans are struggling to pay the next bill, suffering the crime and drugs in every community from her failure securing the border, mourning the loss of 13 brave service-members tragically killed in the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, and grieving for American hostages who lost their lives to terrorists in Israel. Kamala Harris’ weakness and her dangerously liberal agenda have created these crises and will simply further damage our nation in the future.”
