The Biden family and the banks associated with it were recently issued “quiet” subpoenas by the House Oversight Committee asking for all financial records related to them. Hunter Biden, who was caught on a call offering “10 percent to the big guy,” is also under investigation, with a former business associate also issued a House subpoena.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, a Republican, said, “We have the bank records, and the facts are not good for the Biden family,” in a statement to Fox News.

President Biden’s son Hunter appears to be the focal point of the House investigation, with his various suspect business dealings in Ukraine and China under Republican scrutiny. The younger Biden has been facing investigations into his business dealings for years. Several already-released reports have found that the Bidens made big money in China off Joe Biden’s name.
Democrats on the committee leaked the institutions that had received subpoenas, with ranking member Jamie Raskin releasing a memo detailing the institutions targeted and admonishing the Republicans for “a lack of transparency” and lackluster integrity.
Chairman Comer slammed representative Raskin, saying to Fox News:
“Ranking Member Raskin has again disclosed Committee’s subpoenas in a cheap attempt to thwart cooperation from other witnesses. Given his antics with the first bank subpoena, the American people and media should be asking what information Ranking Member Raskin is trying to hide this time. No one should be fooled by Ranking Member Raskin’s games.”
Democrat Raskin has been lamenting the “inconsistent” Republican investigation over its aversion to investigating the records of the recently arraigned President Donald Trump. No Democrat member of the House Oversight Committee has recommended an investigation into President Biden, either.
“To date, Chairman Comer has issued six subpoenas and sent 39 letters in the Biden family investigation alone. Notably, Mr. Comer has failed to issue a single document subpoena in any other Committee investigation this Congress.” ~ House Oversight Democrat Memo
Representative Raskin’s memo also says that Republicans were requesting documents because of prior efforts “failing to yield evidence” and that the basis for the subpoenas is “fake.”

The House Oversight Committee subpoenas are just the latest in a long line of investigations dating back to the infamous leaking of the Hunter Biden laptop, which exposed the president’s son engaging in drug use, hiring prostitutes, and participating in shady business deals that have drawn the ire of Republican legislators.
The Republican effort appears to be trying to hold the Biden family accountable for alleged corruption, with the latest subpoenas compounding those issued to Hunter Biden’s business associates in late March.
Chairman Comer has revealed that the subpoenas show payouts to the Biden family shortly after a family associate received a nearly 3 million dollar payment from a Communist Chinese energy company.
