Rapper Daniel Hernandez, aka Tekashi 6ix9ine,26, was rushed to a hospital after a group of men savagely beat him at a south Florida LA Fitness.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the rapper was jumped by a group of men while in and out of the sauna at the LA fitness in the 8000 block of Lantana Road in Lake Worth.

Lazzaro attempted to fight back but was outnumbered, so he covered his head and protected himself. The gym staff heard the commotion and notified the manager, who called the police. The rapper was taken to the hospital, suffering from cuts, swelling, and injuries to his jaw, back, and ribs.
In a video leaked to Twitter, one of the assailants is heard saying, “Take a Picture; I’m gonna be famous now.” A second video shows 6ix9ine leaving the sauna area bleeding and battered.
6ix9ine has a criminal past and has been in the spotlight recently. The rapper was thrown out of Loan Depot Park in Miami during the World Baseball Classic after allegedly waving the Mexican flag while intoxicated during the Puerto Rico v. Mexico game, intentionally blocking fans’ views.

6ix9ine has been criticized by numerous folks and labeled a snitch after he ratted out his fellow gang members with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods to the feds so he could be released early from prison in April 2020. The rapper was sentenced to two years in jail for nine charges, including racketeering, firearms, and drug trafficking.

It is unclear if the attack was retribution or had anything to do with him testifying against his fellow gang members.
Hernandez’s lawyer stated he was going to get the government to provide Hernandez with some protection as he was a federal witness.
