Florida Man Michael Rudman is in the Hillsborough County jail after attempting to enter the Mons Venus Adult entertainment club in Tampa while wearing a devil mask and armed with a loaded handgun.
Rudman is seen on video wearing red to match his devil mask. As he approaches the front door, he catches the attention of Security Staff Member Manny Resto, a 30-year veteran of security services and an MMA fighter and wrestler.

Resto sees Rudman in his devil outfit with a flashlight in his left hand and a pistol in his right, about to enter the club. At the time of the incident, an estimated 200 people were in the club.
Resto grabbed Rudman’s arm, and the fight was on. The two exchange blows, and Resto knocks the gun out of Rudman’s hand as the two continue fighting. Four people that were outside the club fled the area.
Resto is seen picking up Rudman’s pistol and pointing it at him, but Rudman continues fighting. Resto pushes Rudman down, and it appears Rudman’s pants start to fall down. As Rudman tries to get up, Resto gives him a pistol whip to the dome. By this time, two other security staff members get in the mix and keep Rudman on the ground.
A would be "mass shooter" stopped by a good guy before he could carry out his evil intentions. Bravo…

Interim Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw held a press conference alongside the security staff from the club and stated,
“There’s no question in my mind that had it not been for the brave men we see standing here next to me. That we could have been here discussing a mass shooting in the city of Tampa. But thanks to their heroic actions today, an armed suspect is in custody, and no lives were lost.”
Bercaw also stated that when Tampa police officers arrived on the scene, Rudman was incoherent, and they did not know why Rudman was trying to enter the club with a loaded weapon.
Rudman has a history of domestic violence as well as mental illness.
