Spilling the Tea-Tracy Caruso’s Election Update
Early voting has started, and with primary election day less than a week away, here’s this week’s wrap-up from your friends at Florida Jolt, letting you know who’s the big swinging elephant trunk and who’s just a donkey’s ass.

PBC State Attorney
Republican candidate for PBC State Attorney Forrest Freedman posted a lovely picture with his wife, celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary at swanky Boca Raton Steakhouse, NY Prime. The bill was a whopping five hundred and thirty-nine bucks. We know this because Freedman expensed this fancy feast to his campaign donors by paying it out of his campaign account, claiming it was for a volunteer dinner, as evidenced by his expense report. This cringe moment gave us the ick and should give voters pause. Do yourselves a favor and vote for his opponent, Sam Stern, the only one who can beat a Dem in the general.
PBC Public Defender
Jack Furnari broke the story about current PBC Public Defender Carey Haughwout sending out an email bashing Democrat candidate Adam (not related to Lois) Frankel for the dreadful idea that he has Republican support, only showing that if you’re a Republican in this county, you better not get in trouble because Haughwout doesn’t like you. Additionally, she unsurprisingly doesn’t seem to like the idea that police support Frankel. Is she afraid that criminals might go to prison if Frankel gets elected? Vote Adam Frankel and show this dinosaur donkey that she doesn’t get to control this seat from the grave.
PBC School Board District 1
Congratulations to Republican School Board District 1 candidate Page Lewis, who received a major endorsement from Governor Ron DeSantis. Our Governor has made parental rights in education and school choice top priorities during his time in office, and his endorsement shows that he trusts Page to support his agenda.
PBC School Board District 5
Congratulations to Republican School Board District 5 candidate Gloria Branch, who received the highly coveted BluPac endorsement from the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. This endorsement should help secure her election win.
Delray Beach Millage Rate
Good news for Delray Beach. Mayor Tom Carney sent an email about lowering the Millage rate, which doesn’t reduce your taxes but means you’ll be saving some money.
Delray Beach Al Jazeera Ad Update
The Delray Beach DDA has yet to take responsibility and apologize for using taxpayer dollars to pay for tourism ads on Hamas-loving TV station Al Jazeera. Former news personality Suzanne Boyd, who works under DDA Director Laura Simon, took to social media to claim that the Florida Jolt article was an inaccurate “hit piece,” even though Jack Furnari, who wrote the article, doesn’t live in her Delray bubble, had no idea what the DDA did until he investigated, and doesn’t know anyone connected with it. Additionally, Boyd stated that ads have been “paused” while they review their blocked list. Wrong answer, Suzanne. Take the ads down and apologize to Delray Beach taxpayers and its significant Jewish community.

Marijuana Legalization on the Ballot
State Senator and Republican National Committeeman Joe Gruters went against the RPOF and is supporting legalizing marijuana. Meanwhile, Speaker of the Florida House Paul Renner has been speaking against it. Voters will be the final decision-makers on this one in November.
PBC Republican State Committeewoman
Who is Jenniffer, two Ns, two Fs, Lee? She’s new on the political scene. Lee sent out a text to Palm Beach County voters endorsing herself for PBC Republican State Committeewoman, not that she’s biased or anything. According to Florida Jolt’s Jack Furnari, Jodi Schwartz is the best option, and the cost of this endorsement is zero dollars.
Proof that campaign signs do work. I drove off of 95 and saw an “unhoused” person with a sign that said, “Too ugly for prostitution. Too honest to steal,” and gave him a few bucks. Only in Florida, friends. Only in Florida.
