Rep. Mike Caruso turns the other cheek, trains local Republicans

In March, members of the Republican Party of Palm Beach County threw a tantrum. They voted to censure Florida Rep. Mike Caruso, R-Delray Beach, for endorsing a moderate Democrat in a Democratic Primary. Still, last Saturday, at the request of the local party that rebuked him, Caruso helped train local Republican candidates.

The topic was “how to win a race,” something many local Republican Executive Committee members have never done before.

It isn’t like Caruso doesn’t have a lot to do. He’s moving soon to West Palm Beach because of redistricting. His new political home will be in House District 87.

In a county where Republicans are only 28.7% of voters compared to the Democrats 40.6% of voters, one must wonder why any Republican in their right mind would vote to hurt one of their own elected officials.

Whatever their reasons, the people who voted to censure Caruso should apologize to him and to their party. The Republican Executive Committee exists to help local Republican candidates at the grassroots level. They’re not there to hurt Republican elected officials.

Caruso walks the Republican walk. He was teaching his fellow Republicans two valuable lessons Saturday-how to win and how to bury the hatchet and do the right thing by their brother and sister Republicans.

I hope they’ve learned both lessons well.

Palm Beach Post Data Dweeb

Chris Persaud of the Palm Beach Post, not the good Chris Persaud of, Servant’s heart leads Chris Persaud to run for Palm Beach County School Board is what they’re calling a “data reporter.”

This Persaud did a nasty hit piece on Seth Dillon, the CEO of Babylon Bee, and Chaya Raichik, of the Twitter account Libs of TikTok, who was doxxed by the Washington Post and their crying “reporter” Taylor Lorenz.

Taylor Lorenz slammed as ‘hypocrite’ for ‘doxing’ ‘Libs of TikTok’ creator

Persaud didn’t stop there, though. He went after Gov. Ron DeSantis, DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Laura Ingraham, and more.

Persaud uses quotation marks to tell you that he doesn’t consider the Babylon Bee a “satire” website. Millions of people love Babylon Bee, because it is the premier conservative satire site.

The Bee is more of a satire site than the Palm Beach Post is a “newspaper” or Persaud a “reporter.”

Even the headline is a clickbait lie, but here it is: Babylon Bee CEO of Juno Beach backs Twitter firebrand who calls LGBTQ people pedophile

You’ll probably need to wash after reading this sleazy piece and cleanse your palette by following, Ron DeSantis, The Babylon Bee, Libs of TikTok, and Christina Pushaw.
