PBC Republicans Blast Harris’ Presidential Bid – ‘Imperative We Re-Elect Trump’
President Joe Biden’s decision to suspend his re-election campaign drew strong reactions in Palm Beach County, with Republicans bidding the 81-year-old good riddance. After weeks of pressure from Democrats, Biden shocked the country on Sunday by bowing out of the race and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as his successor. GOP candidates and lawmakers in the county, however, were quick to condemn her bid for the Oval Office, reaffirming their support for Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Republicans’ responses ranged from indifferent, viewing Biden’s decision as expected, to highly energized, eager to thwart Harris’s Presidential ambitions.
“I don’t care about President Biden; his time has come and gone,” Florida Rep. Mike Caruso told Florida Jolt, adding that his focus was on defeating Harris.
“It is imperative that we re-elect President Trump as our 47th president. We must stay together as a united party and make sure he wins a mandate in November.”

Andrew Guttman, Republican congressional candidate for Florida’s 22nd District, agreed. He described Biden’s dropping out as “inevitable” and called on Republicans to rally and defeat the eventual Democratic nominee.
“[Biden] clearly isn’t mentally capable of being President. But regardless of who Democrats pick as their candidate, I am confident that Americans are going to overwhelmingly reject the policies of open borders, high inflation and woke indoctrination that Joe Biden and his party have espoused for the past three years of his administration. It is time for Republicans to unite to help save our great country.”

What a farce. If Biden is incapable of campaigning, how can he say he’s capable of fulfilling his duties as President? pic.twitter.com/yVxWNsfhfC

Joseph LaFauci, a candidate for Palm Beach County State Committeeman, hammered the Democratic party for what he describes as an ‘undemocratic’ nomination process. “The party that drilled ‘Democracy is on the ballot’ for four years has officially executed the most UN-democratic presidential nomination in modern US History,” LaFauci told Florida Jolt.
“First, they cancelled Democratic Primaries in MAJOR states. Second, they LIED about the current President’s capacity to govern. Third, they will now leave the nomination process to party insiders and superdelegates. I hope that my friends on the other side of the aisle can see through the charade. This is voter suppression.”

Robert Weinroth, Republican Congressional Candidate for Florida’s 23rd District, said Biden’s exit was proof that Americans’ will reject Democrats’ radical agenda in November. “America has been rejecting the radical Biden-Harris agenda that has allowed our borders to remain wide open and their inflationary policies that have made everything cost too much,”
“Now is the time to focus on getting candidates elected who will help President Trump make America great again, and that is what I am running for Congress to do.”

“President Donald J. Trump is the only possible choice in November. Our country needs his leadership, strength, and conviction to Make America Great Again. This election is a battle between good and evil, and we must prevail.”
