Outgoing State Senator, Dennis Baxley Endorses Keith Truenow

Tavares, FL- Today, State Senator Dennis Baxley announced he is endorsing Keith Truenow for State Senate.

“I’ve had the privilege and pleasure of serving the people of Florida with Keith Truenow these last four years, and I could not be prouder to endorse him for the District 13 seat I am about to term out of. Keith is a true conservative and has been on the front lines of Florida’s fight with the blue state woke liberals. Whether it was helping pass permit less carry, removing layers of duplicative government, or backing the Governor – Florida is more free because of Keith Truenow,” Baxley said.

“Senator Dennis Baxley has tireless fought to protect our conservative values- and, as a result, Florida is all the better because of it. He has defended our State and Constitutional Rights and I am truly humbled by his support,” Truenow concluded.

Keith Truenow is the founder of Lake Jem Farms based in Mount Dora which focuses on producing and selling sod throughout Florida. Following graduation from high school, Keith enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his Country for the next four years. Following his military service, he retuned home to Lake County and his agricultural roots.

Keith was elected to the State House of Representatives in 2020. He serves on several local and statewide boards including, Turfgrass Producers of Florida, Lake County Farm Bureau and the Lake County Fair Association. He also served on the Harris Chain of Lakes Restoration Council, appointed by Governor Rick Scott.

One of Representative Truenow’s biggest legislative victories came when he passed a law to eliminate the duplicative Lake County Water Authority- an agency that was double taxing and double serving Lake County residents. Keith is devoted to his loving wife of over twenty years and their two sons.
