‘More Lies, No Shame’ – Mayorkas Praises ‘Effectiveness’ of Border Security Ahead of Invasion
As Title 42 expires just before midnight on Thursday, local law enforcement agencies are steeling themselves for an unprecedented invasion of the Southern Border brought on by America’s federal government. With well over 100,000 illegal aliens waiting on standby to rush the border after the end of Title 42, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas says his department’s efforts will be focused on maximizing immigration to the country and praised the “effectiveness” of his approach on Wednesday.
“Even after nearly two years of preparations, we expect to see large numbers of encounters at our southern border in the days and weeks after May 11. We are already seeing high numbers of encounters in certain sectors,” Mayorkas said in a statement ahead of Title 42’s expiration.
“This places an incredible strain on our personnel, our facilities, and our communities with whom we partner closely. Our plan will deliver results…”
Results for whom? Americans, or the flood of illegals being welcomed in with open arms?

If the Department of Homeland Security aims to overrun the Southern Border with illegals, Mayorkas’ approach has undoubtedly been “effective.” Border crossings have been three times higher under Biden than Trump and have topped 10,000 per day ahead of the expiration of Title 42. The current invasion of the border is the worst it has ever been in history.
According to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin,
“[Customs and Border Patrol] sources tell us Border Patrol’s Rio Grande Valley sector was already running at 140% capacity in its facilities, and T42 hasn’t dropped yet.”
Responding to Mayorkas’ comments about “effectiveness,” many expressed outrage over DHS’s open borders policy.
“What effectiveness? Trump was effective. Mayorkas is a total failure,” one Twitter user wrote before saying that House Republicans “need to impeach him.”
“Yep, we have seen it alright. Thousands crossing every day just like Biden wanted,” said another commenter.
“More lies. No shame.”

On Wednesday, Former Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Chad Wolf spoke to Fox News Host Kayleigh McEnany, and issued a response to Mayorkas,
“The border is anything but effective, the department of homeland security has been anything but effective. And I think you just have to listen and talk to the border patrol agents. They’re frustrated. They’ve been in a crisis now for 27 months and they see no end in sight. And they are begging their political leadership to give them policies that work at the end of the day, and they’re not getting that.”
Wolf remarked that Joe Biden had visited the border mere months ago for a photo op but had misrepresented the truth by clearing the streets of illegals beforehand. “They did not want to show him the truth,” he said.
“Because if you come to El Paso today you’re going to see a variety of migrants out here because there’s nowhere else to put them. Texas has been overrun, other border states have been overrun. And this is the reality and this is what happens when you don’t have effective policies that deter and hold people accountable for illegal behavior.”
Wolf added, “There’s over 100,000 along the border from San Diego to Brownsville in Texas. So they’re waiting for Title 42 to end. The cartels are messaging to them ‘Wait for Title 42.'”
