‘KA-MELEON’ – Vance Defends Trump Comments, Doubles Down Against Harris

In a recent interview with CNN, GOP Vice Presidential Nominee  JD Vance called out Democrat Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris for being a “chameleon.”

“I think Trump is right that she’s a chameleon. She pretends to be one thing in front of one audience, she pretends to be something different in front of another audience,” Vance said.

Vance went on to give examples of the point, focusing on her approaches to policy policy.

“She doesn’t have her policy positions out there. She hasn’t answered why she wanted to ban fracking, but now she doesn’t. She wanted to fund the police but now she doesn’t. She wanted to open the border, but now she doesn’t. She should have to answer for why she presents a different set of policies to one audience and a different set of policies to another audience, and I think that’s what President Trump was getting at. This is a fundamentally fake person.”

The Trump comments in question came at the end of July, where he pointed out how Harris focused on her Indian ancestry early in her career when it was politically convenient and has only recently been publicly leveraging her afro-Jamaican heritage, being selective depending on her audience.

“Crazy Kamala is saying she’s Indian, not Black. This is a big deal. Stone cold phony. She uses everybody, including her racial identity!” he also said on Truth Social.

Since then Vance has been sounding the alarm on the topic, pointing out that Trump’s comments are not unfounded.

In recent months, Harris has been caught putting on an uncharacteristic stereotypically southern black accent when speaking to African-American voters in the South. This is despite the fact Harris has never lived in the South, living much of her life in California and her formative high school years in Canada. Something Vance pointed out in an impromptu interview on the topic.

“It doesn’t give me pause at all. All he said was that she’s a chameleon. She goes to Georgia two days ago, she was raised in Canada, she puts on a fake southern accent. She is everything to everybody and she pretends to be something different depending on what audience she’s in front of.

Kamala Harris breaks out a fake accent and cackles maniacally: “Do I see people testifyin’… Can I get a witness?”

The phony accent is eerily reminiscent of Hillary Clinton’s similar gaffe on the campaign trail.

In another press conference, Vance, a father to biracial children, noted he did not take Trump’s comments as an attack on her bi-racial background but on how she cynically used it and other aspects of her campaign to shapeshift and avoid thought questions.
