Jeffrey Epstein‘s recently revealed personal calendar has exposed scheduled meetings with multiple prominent individuals, including the current CIA director, even after being convicted as a sex offender.
The revelatory documents include emails and scheduled meetings with now-CIA Director William Burns, Barack Obama’s White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler, Bard College president Leon Botstein, and leftist professor and author Noam Chomsky.

All of these meetings were scheduled between 2013 and 2017 after the pedophile had been convicted and served time in jail in 2008 for sex crimes involving a teenage girl. However, the purpose of meetings was not revealed in the trove of documents obtained by the Wall Street Journal.
Burns, who has been the CIA Director under President Biden since 2021, met with Epstein roughly a decade earlier. At the time, Burns was reportedly preparing to leave Government. The two met once in Washington, then a second time in Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse. Many other appointments with prominent individuals were scheduled to take place at the townhouse, the same place where prosecutors in 2019 alleged Epstein sexually abused female victims, many of them underage.
CIA spokeswoman Tammy Kupperman Thorp defended Burns, claiming he was utterly ignorant of Epsteins status as a convicted sex offender, and was only asking him for financial advice.
‘The director did not know anything about him, other than that he was introduced as an expert in the financial services sector and offered general advice on transition to the private sector. They had no relationship.”
White House counsel in the Obama administration, Kathryn Ruemmler, had dozens of meetings planned with Epstein.
Sessions included a trip to Paris in 2015 and a 2017 visit to Epstein’s private island in the Caribbean, according to the documents.
The two first met Epsteionn called her to ask if she would be interested in representing Bill Gates and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a Goldman Sachs spokesman told the Wall Street Journal. Ruemmler joined Goldman Sachs in 2020. According to the documents, Epstein and his staff discussed whether Ruemmler would be uncomfortable with the presence of young women who worked as assistants at the townhouse.

According to emails in the documents, Epstein told one of his young assistants to stay away from the house but told another to stay. The Goldman spokesperson claimed that Ruemmler didn’t express concern about the young women’s presence during her meetings at the townhouse.
Ruemmler had more than three dozen appointments with Epstein, including lunches and dinners, according to the documents, along with social events. However, the Goldman spokesperson defended this closeness as a typical client relationship.
“In the normal course, Epstein also invited her to meetings and social gatherings, introduced her to other business contacts, and made referrals. It was the same kinds of contacts and engagements she had with other contacts and clients.”
And, despite her scheduled flights with Epstein to Paris and his house in the U.S. Virgin Islands for a day, The Goldman spokesperson claims she never accepted these invites.
“But Ruemmler never visited his island and ‘never accepted an invitation or an opportunity to fly with Jeffrey Epstein anywhere.”
Epstein also met with Bard College President Leon Botstein, who admitted to knowing about Epstein’s past but defended his action as being motivated by a belief in rehabilitation. Noted leftist academic Noam Chomsky met with the sex offender as well, where they reportedly discussed Israel-Palestine relations with former Israel Prime Minister Ehud Barak.
