Introducing Haley Marguerite, Author, Publisher, and Anti-Bullying Advocate
Boca Raton, FL – Haley Marguerite, author and founder of Haley Marguerite Publishing, is pleased to announce the success of her Charlie Takes an Adventure book series for children. Haley is not only a talented author, but also a motivational speaker and anti-bullying advocate whose work has been implemented in schools and communities around the globe.
Haley’s journey to becoming a published author started unexpectedly when she graduated college in 2013. She had no idea she would end up as a penguin’s travel agent and author of the Charlie the Penguin and Beyond Tour. Haley’s books have sold over 15,000 copies, including Charlie Takes an Adventure, Charlie Takes an Adventure to Massachusetts, Charlie Takes an Adventure to New York and Charlie Takes an Adventure to the Moon.
“As my second-grade class heard Charlie Takes an Adventure, they were engaged with the unique Florida storyline. These eight-year-olds wanted more Charlie book adventures and even asked if it would become a movie!” said one elementary school teacher.
Haley’s books are not only engaging, but also educational. Children learn fun facts while also discovering famous, must-know historical landmarks. The series helps to improve children’s imagination and creativity through traveling with Charlie. Students also learn essential life lessons about friends, family, and the meaning of “home” along the way.
In 2021, Haley launched “A Book and Beyond,” an anti-bullying program aimed at reducing the number of bullies in schools and communities around the world. The program has gained notoriety and the support of 10 big name partnerships.
Haley’s positive, happy-go-lucky personality has helped her mentor authors of all ages, from 5 to 85. She has launched Haley Marguerite Publishing, a self-publishing company helping fellow authors have their stories told.
Haley centers her events around giving back, and it’s a vital part of who she is. Christmas of 2020, she donated to Drexell and Honeybee’s, a donation-only restaurant located in Brewton, Alabama. She drove 13 hours to meet the founder, Lisa Mcmilan, and to donate books and money to the cause.
