WATCH: Hillary Compares Trump Voters to ‘Neo-Nazis, Fascists’
Twice-failed Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says Donald Trump’s upcoming rally at Madison Square Garden will be like a 1939 Nazi Rally, with “Neo Nazis” and “fascists” in attendance. Clinton also called the former President himself a “fascist” during her interview with CNN host Kaitlin Collins.
“Sadly, here in America, the term fits,” Clinton said.
“One other thing that you’ll see next week, Kaitlin, is Trump actually reenacting the Madison Square Garden rally in 1939,” Clinton continued. “I write about this in my book.”
“President Franklin Roosevelt was appalled that Neo-Nazis, Fascists, in America were lining up to essentially pledge their support for the kind of government that they were seeing in Germany! So I don’t think we can ignore it!” she added.
Trump will hold the rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday in his hometown of New York City. The iconic sports arena was also the site of the Democratic National Conventions in 1924, 1976, 1980, and 1992, as well as the Republican National Convention in 2004, the New York Post reported.

The Trump campaign also fired back in a statement to the Post, calling Clinton’s comments “disgusting.” Campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said,
“Hillary Clinton is so messed up from her raging 8-year-long case of anti-Trump derangement syndrome that she forgot SHE did an event at Madison Square Garden when she was a Senator, and her husband Bill accepted the Democrat nomination there.”
“Putting aside her hypocrisy, Hillary’s rhetoric about half of the country is disgusting,“ Leavitt added.
Former Trump administration official Kaelan Dorr also weighed in on X, calling Clinton’s remarks “irresponsible.”
“This is deeply disturbing rhetoric that is not only irresponsible to use against someone who’s survived multiple assassination attempts … It demonizes half of the country,” Dorr said in a post.
“And it belittles the pain of actual holocaust survivors,” he continued. “Kamala will lose. Just like this nasty woman.”

In 2016, Clinton infamously referred to Trump’s supporters as a “basket of deplorables” before describing them as “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, [and] Islamophobic.” Clinton apologized the following day. In her 2017 book ‘What Happened,’ she said her comments were a factor in losing the 2016 Presidential election.
Regardless, Democrats appear to have stepped up their attacks on Trump in recent weeks, frequently comparing him to German dictator Adolf Hitler.
On Wednesday, Vice President Kamala Harris called an emergency press conference at her private residence in Washington, DC. With reporters gathered, she accused Trump of wanting “unchecked” power in his second term, along with a “military like Adolf Hitler had.”
Trump later pushed back on Truth Social,
“Comrade Kamala Harris sees that she is losing, and losing badly, especially after stealing the Race from Crooked Joe Biden, so now she is increasingly raising her rhetoric, going so far as to call me Adolf Hitler, and anything else that comes to her warped mind,” Trump wrote. “She is a Threat to Democracy and not fit to be President of the United States — And her Polling so indicates!”
