Former WH Doctor Warns ‘Fat Alvin’ Bragg Over Trump Arrest
Congressman and former White House doctor Ronny Jackson (R-TX) has issued several stern warnings to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg this week following the arrest of former President Donald Trump in Manhattan on Tuesday. Referring to the leftist prosecutor as “Fat Alvin,” Jackson accused the prosecutor of making campaign promises to the “criminal left” and abusing his office to advance a Democrat agenda.
In a statement reported by Breitbart this week, Jackson Jackson warned,
“Alvin Bragg is manipulating a Presidential election and the rule of law to advance the rabid far-Left political agenda of those that put him in office… He only wants to indict President Trump because it fulfills his campaign promise and appeases the criminal left! This spineless weasel Bragg is making up the law as he goes because he doesn’t have the courage to do his damn job.”

According to a report by the Republican National Committee, Bragg campaigned on suing Donald Trump more than 100 times during his 2021 campaign for attorney general. He is commonly characterized as a “Soros-backed” prosecutor, a claim that liberal billionaire George Soros firmly rejects. Bragg’s campaign, however, benefited from a $1 million donation Soros made to the “Color of Change PAC”–a racial justice activist group.

The former White House doctor added in his statement,
“This is a dangerous partisan political stunt. Hope he enjoys his fifteen minutes of fame because Congress will be coming after him when this is done!”
On Tuesday, after Trump surrendered to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, Jackson wrote on Twitter,
“Today will go down as one of the darkest days in American history. I never would have imagined this happening in America. It’s sickening. The American people WILL NOT stand for this!!”

He also went after District Attorney Bragg directly, promising that the Republican-led House would hold him accountable,
“Hey FAT ALVIN, go ahead and celebrate with another jelly donut, but get ready to answer some serious questions from Congress!”

On Tuesday, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) told CNN that a House investigation of Bragg was being discussed, along with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH). After the Manhattan District Attorney’s office admitted last week that $5,000 in federal funds was being used in the prosecution of Donald Trump, Republicans have vowed to launch a formal probe into “the illegal weaponization of his office.” The charges against Trump have received condemnation on both sides of the aisle, with legal experts stating that Bragg’s case is flimsy at best.
Comer also reported this week that he was speaking to two District Attorneys in Kentucky and Tennessee who are weighing possible charges against the Clintons and Hunter Biden.
“You can be sure that there are prosecutors across Florida and Texas right now who are looking for a state law hook into the Biden family,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said in a New York Post report. “And if they’re not, they’re not doing their jobs.”
