The Democrat National Convention is set to begin Monday in Chicago, complete with free abortions and high fences to ward off its leftmost flank, while Trump and Vance plan to storm swing states in the meantime.
According to the New York Times, vasectomies, abortions, and even IUDs will be offered by the mobile unit of a local Planned Parenthood that will be stationed at the convention. Payment will be on a “sliding scale” where people pay whatever they choose to pay or don’t pay at all.
“There are going to be people traveling to Chicago from all over the country,” Dr. Colleen McNicholas, the chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood Great Rivers, told NYT. “And I think we should be doing what we can as health care providers to show what the impact of good policy and bad policy is.”

The move hints towards democrats making abortion and other sexual issues a critical tent post in this campaign season, more so than in years past.
At the same time, the DNC and Chicago, on the whole, are bracing for disruptive protests from their pro-Palestine left flank, unhappy with part elites’ friendly While the Convention has been constructing tall fences around their planned site, Chicago locals in the city are boarding their windows up in preparation for the coming unrest.

Meanwhile, the Trump-Vance ticket plans to hit swing states hard with multiple events. On Monday, Trump and Vance will hold events focused on the economy and energy in Pennsylvania, with Trump in York and Vance in Philadelphia. Events on crime and safety will take place on Tuesday, with Vanc in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Trump in Detroit.
The pair will meet on Wednesday for an event on national security in Asheboro, North Carolina, and then split up again soon after, with Trump talking about immigration in Arizona and Vance covering the same topic in Georgia.
The plan overlaps perfectly with the DNC’s scheduled runtime of Monday through Thursday, with the goal of evoking a stark contrast in priorities.
“At the DNC, Kamala Harris will hide behind celebrities because everyday families know that she has been an absolute disaster for our nation, and real Americans are worse off now than four years ago,” said Trump Campaign Senior Advisors Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles in a statement. “As they meet Americans where they are in battleground states across the country, President Trump and Senator Vance will remind voters that under their leadership, we can end inflation, protect our communities from violent criminals, secure the border, and Make America Great Again.”
