The 2025 Boca Raton Mayors Ball was truly a grand event with a glamorous theme, “Party of the Century.” This 10th anniversary celebration at The Boca Raton, which celebrated the city’s 100th anniversary, was hosted by the Rotary Club of Downtown Boca Raton. Proceeds from this black-tie gala directly benefit the Rotary’s vital community grant programs. This year’s event was a night to remember, filled with elegance, philanthropy, and a gathering of hundreds of people from Palm Beach County, all coming together to celebrate Boca Raton.

Florida Atlantic University President Adam Hasner graced the event with the equally lovely First Lady Jillian Hasner. Former Palm Beach County Mayor Steven Abrams made an appearance, with arrival details kept discreet amid questions of whether he arrived by car or Tri-Rail. City Council members Andy Thomson and Mark Widger were looking especially sharp, sparking the idea that black tie might be the new dress code for council meetings! Hadas Levy, our favorite patriotic chanteuse, helped kick off this fabulous evening.
Among the standout guests was the ever-charming “Dr. Sex Fairy” Kanwal Bawa, who brought major fashion heat, alongside attorney Pam Polani and the stunning CEO of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, Kelly Smallridge, as well as Boca icon Arlene Herson, Kim Champion, and Linda Petrakis, all dressed to impress.
Marilyn Monroe doppelgänger Sharon DiPietro dazzled in a gorgeous silver dress, playing the role of hostess with the mostest alongside local luminaries, such as the always lively Francesca Daniels, and artist Yacov Heller and his wife, Sue. Marta Batmasian took delight in noting that her husband, Jim, honored the occasion by forgoing jeans, while expressing pleasure at seeing Florida Jolt’s own Tracy Caruso also forgoing her jeans and navy blazer uniform, and being dressed in an actual ballgown for the occasion. Tracy generously allowed her husband, the dashing Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Mike Caruso, to tag along.
Commissioner Woodward was all smiles and beauty, riding high on her recent $200K fundraiser success; Commissioner Maria Sachs could be found dancing the night away, and State Representative Peggy Gossett-Seidman added to the fun and energy of the evening. No Boca affair is complete without Former County Mayor and current Boca council candidate Bob Weinroth and his wife Pam, who were seen enjoying every moment.
The event was a dazzling mix of philanthropy, fashion, and networking, with hundreds of attendees enjoying a successful auction and raising significant funds for worthy causes. This spectacular night sets the tone for a fabulous and undoubtedly record-breaking season in Palm Beach County.
