Woman in Boca Raton Calls for Sugar Daddy – Mommy Appreciation Day

A Florida woman calling herself “Ashley Cream” made an unusual request during a Planning & Zoning Board meeting in Boca Raton on Thursday night.

Right after a presentation related to a motion to approve an ordinance to amend the city code for the bulk storage of flammable liquids, The chairman of the Planning and Zoning Board asked members of the audience if anyone had any questions.

Ashley Cream

A woman with a long blonde wig and a large decolletage, wearing sunglasses, stood up, raised her hand, and walked to the microphone. An elderly man using a cane walked behind her to the podium, and once there, she identified herself as “Ashley Cream.”

Ms. Cream came prepared and gave some numbers about how Florida had the largest per capita population of “Sugar Daddies” in the US, with Miami, Palm Beach, and Boca with the highest concentration of “these aged benefactors.” She said they’re helpful to the economy.

“Sugar Daddies, both gay and straight, and yes, even Sugar Mommies, are responsible for college educations, cars, homes, rents, jets…and the occasional body enhancement.”

Ms. Cream asked the board to decree a “Sugar Daddy and Mommy Appreciation Day” on March 10.

Apparently, Ms. Cream didn’t do her homework as she appeared before the wrong county board. When asked about her Sugar Daddy and Mommy Appreciation Day idea, the Planning & Zoning Board chair, Arnold Sevell answered her request with, “That’s a city council issue.”

The woman and her elderly male guest left the podium. She later rolled him out of the board chambers in a wheelchair.

It’s not the first time a “Sugar Daddy” comment has come up in an official proceeding. Last year, a potential juror used it as an excuse to get out of jury duty in the trial of  Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz.

“I’m married, and I have my sugar daddy,” a prospective juror told a Florida judge to be excused from jury duty. Judges on Monday were selecting jurors to decide on Nikolas Cruz’s death penalty in the Parkland school shooting trial when the woman gave Judge Elizabeth Scherer some interesting reasons she could not make the panel.

No word on whether Ms. Cream will attend the next Boca Raton City Council Meeting with her proposal.
