Woke Witch Hunt: Woman Fired for Following Libs of TikTok, Ian Miles Cheong on Twitter
Video game company Limited Run Gaming recently fired employee Kara Lynne after she was targeted on Twitter by an anonymous account with the username “Purple Tinker hates Elon.” The account targeted Lynne for following accounts like Libs of Tik Tok and writing non-woke tweets regarding political issues involving transgenderism.
‘Purple’ has since deleted the tweet thread. However, it was archived before deletion.

The tweet went after Lynne for following accounts like Libs of Tik Tok, Blaire White (who is trans), Glenn Beck, Gina Carano, and Ian Cheong, calling them a “veritable who’s who of right-wing transphobic creeps.”
The original thread also cited a tweet from Lynne in 2016, which read, “If you think the # of trans crying about using a bathroom is higher than the perves using the excuse, you are what is wrong with this world.”
The account promised to discontinue all business with Limited Run Gaming and then updated the thread upon news Lynne had been fired.
LRG did, in fact, bend under the pressure of tweeting out the news of her termination on Saturday while also claiming to respect all personal opinions.
LRG respects all personal opinions, however we remain committed to supporting an inclusive culture. Upon investigating a situation, an employee was terminated. Our goal as a company is to continue to foster a positive and safe environment for everyone.

Iain Cheong, one of the individuals Lynne followed and non-leftist gaming YouTuber tweeted his reaction to the firing. Cheong also noted that the witchhunt against Lynne began with her support for an upcoming Harry Potter game.
The nut job initiated a witch hunt because Kara had the audacity to say she was looking forward to the new Harry Potter video game.

Why is this relevant? Harry Potter author JK Rowling, who is no conservative, has repeatedly said the’s a difference between (biological) women and trans-women (biological males) males who have transitioned, drawing the ire of trans activists and earning her the label of a TERF (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist).
No one is saying that you can't buy the game
They're all saying that if you buy the game, knowing what JK Rowling stands for, then you are making a decision that tells the Trans community that your entertainment and nostalgia are more important then their rights.
That's reality https://t.co/Mzv09tE21f

One Twitter observer dove deeper, making fun of ‘Purple’ for its hatred of Lynne over concerns of disingenuous ‘trans’ people after falling victim to one themselves.
This person got someone fired from @LimitedRunGames for their genuine concern about pervs posing as transgender women, only to then get scammed by someone posing as a transgender woman.
Oh the irony. pic.twitter.com/bdlNhBrPMr

Still, other observers condemned LRG’s move as cowardly and in line with a growing trend of cancellations in the gaming industry. Indeed, nearly all institutions and areas of life seem increasingly subject to ideological capture by ‘woke ideologues.
People need to get a life and these companies need to grow some balls and stop catering to these sensitive bullies.

Actually, there is one important difference here. The tripwire CEO was not cowed into silence by the mob. It looks like this employee has been sufficiently intimidated/silenced by Limited Run Games.

"We remain committed to our inclusive culture, thats why we're firing a person for being different than the rest of us". Is certainly a statement to make.
