Violent Left-Wing Insurrectionists Invade Texas Capitol, Shut Down Proceedings Banning Child Sex Surgeries
Radical left activists stormed the Texas State Capitol Tuesday afternoon to shut down proceedings on a bill banning child sex surgeries before Texas State Police cleared them from the building.
The activists began by singing in protest of the bill outside the building, but within hours had entered the gallery. House Speaker Dade Phelan ordered the state police to clear the House Chamber Gallery as the bill came to the floor. Even after the gallery was removed, the vote on the legislation was delayed until later in the week after a parliamentary concern was raised, according to Fox News. Phelan commented on his decision to get state police involved on Twitter.
“Rules matter in the TX House. Today’s outbursts in the gallery were a breach of decorum & continued after I warned that such behaviors would not be tolerated. There will always be differing perspectives, but in our chamber, we will debate those differences w/ respect. #txlege“

While clearing the gallery, some of the activists unrolled banners in support of sex surgeries on children. They also revealed that they were under the impression that children have a right to these procedures, reportedly chanting, “Trans rights are human rights” and singing, “We are fighting for our rights, and we shall not be moved.”
Video of the commotion in the gallery was published on Twitter, with the caption of one user calling the activists insurrectionists for invading the capitol, mirroring the language used regarding January 6th

There was also rioting outside the gallery, where the crowd chanted that allowing children to access these transgender procedures was protection.

One woman, who supported banning children from being subjected to these procedures, was assaulted and harassed by the crowd.

Eventually, Texas police cleared the gallery and the rest of the capitol building of disruptive protestors.

Leftists on Twitter were quick to condemn the removal as “thuggery and cowardice” and to rip on the state police for doing their job. It should be noted that invading a capitol building with the intent of stopping proceedings is what occurred on January 6th, to widespread left-wing condemnation.
Wow — watch how these big, tough Texas public safety officers violently manhandled these peaceful protesters, whose only “crime” was demonstrating in the House Gallery at the Texas Capitol against an anti-trans bill.

If passed, the bill will prevent doctors and other institutions from giving children puberty blockers and hormone therapy. The NHS has admitted that the long-term effects of puberty blockers,w which are marketed as reversible, are unknown.
“Little is known about the long-term side effects of hormone or puberty blockers in children with gender dysphoria. Although GIDS advises this is a physically reversible treatment if stopped, it is not known what the psychological effects may be. It’s also not known whether hormone blockers affect the development of the teenage brain or children’s bones. Side effects may also include hot flushes, fatigue and mood alterations.”
Cross-sex hormone therapy, the NHS writes, definitively does have irreversible effects, often including chemical castration.
These hormones cause some irreversible changes, such as:
- breast development (caused by taking oestrogen)
- breaking or deepening of the voice (caused by taking testosterone)
Long-term cross-sex hormone treatment may cause temporary or even permanent infertility.
Surgeries are also, obviously, similarly irreversible.
This is not the only protest against bills like this one, with another incident in a Montana State House being shut down by riot police last week. Across the country, there seem to be people highly motivated to subject children to these procedures.
