[Video] Protesters Block NYC Train and Fight NYPD Over Death of Jordan Neely

New York City protesters shut down the massive Big Apple subway system. They fought the NYPD over the death of Jordan Neely, a man who, a year before his death, landed a one-year sentence at Riker’s Island prison for beating a 67-year-old woman and breaking her facial bones in the process.

According to the New York Post, at least seven people were arrested during the demonstration.

Echoing the “no justice, no peace” chants that accompanied the George Floyd protests and riots of 2020, the protesters jumped in front of a subway train, forcing it to come to a screeching halt, before police arrived and began to clear out the chaotic scene.

Agitants could be heard saying, “I can’t breathe,” despite no pressure being applied to their windpipe or chest while being arrested.

Protesters could also be seen blocking the exits to the train, preventing commuters from entering or leaving. The indiscriminate displays of rage toward innocent civilians are presumptively being done in the name of “justice” for Jordan Neely.

An ex-marine accidentally killed Neely while restraining him after he was “ranting” on the train and being aggressive toward random passengers. The veteran put Neely in a chokehold and held him for several minutes to subdue the unsettling man, but Neely was inadvertently killed in the process.

The Marine has said that the incident was accidental and maintains no guilt. The Manhattan DA, currently busy prosecuting President Trump, is in the process of assembling a grand jury to decide whether or not to press charges.

Rioters and left-wing activists are comparing it to Minneapolis Police Department Officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on the kneck of George Floyd.

Over the last few months, New York City has been gripped by intermittent anarchy, dealing with rampant violent crime, a migrant crisis, and now riots and mass protests.

The activists on the street seem to not care about the context of Neely’s death – instead, they have gone on to the streets outside the subway chanting, “No cops, no KKK, no fascist USA.”

Reactions to the online videos of protests have been mainly of confusion and disgust.

“How anyone could care about this violent criminal is insane. These people just want an excuse to also act like violent criminals.” ~@gagglemaxx on Twitter

Another Twitter commenter refers to the protesters’ ignorance toward the slew of killings that have plagued America over the last few days, including a hate-crime murder of two white people by an African American in Oklahoma that the media has been largely silent about.

“There have probably been several dozen killings more wanton than Nealy’s just this week and none of these people even pretend to give a sh*t. It’s about pushing a narrative and showing their virtue, nothing more.” ~@Bjmartin210

Another commenter, who implies to be a frequent NYC subway commuter, had strong words for the protesters.

“If you don’t take the subway in NYC you don’t know sh*t!! These “mental” people be terrorizing hard working stiffs like me every morning and evening… and we can’t do sh*t about it? Innocent people get pushed sh*t on and pissed on every f***ing day! And the city doesn’t do nothing.” ~@Mannydz23
