Video –‘I Was Prepared to be Killed’ Gun-Waving Florida Man Disrupts Broward Wedding

Miguel Rodriguez Albisu, 58, of Southwest Ranches, was in the Broward County Jail after a cell phone video showed him pointing a gun at a newlywed couple and their wedding guests during a reception at Cielo Farms in Southwest Ranches.

An Instagram video shows a South Florida wedding reception being broken up by a man wearing a yellow shirt and waving a gun. Jonathan Campo, aka “DJ Richhomie Jon,” who posted the video, says the man is the manager of the Southwest Ranches facility where the wedding was held.

Albisu, the man seen waving the gun, is the manager of Cielo Farms Nursery, located at 4680 Volunteer Rd. in Davie, which was the event’s location.

DJ Richhomie Jon stated he was working the turntable at his cousin’s wedding at Cielo Farms. The agreed-upon shutdown time was 11:30 p.m., not at 10:50 p.m.

A man in a black tee shirt, later identified as Christian Rafart, approached him at the DJ table, demanding to turn down the music. Campo said he told the man it was the last song and turned the volume down, but the man told him to shut everything down and reached for the keyboard to shut it off. Campo said he pushed the man away, and he came back again.

The confrontation got even more heated, and several guests kept the men separated and tried to keep it from turning into a full-out brawl; DJ Richhomie said the man went to get the man in the yellow shirt, who, when I saw, told him I’d talk to him and explain it all.

Miguel Rodriguez Albisu then enters the reception area and appears to be pointing his gun toward the DJ stand, waving a gun and screaming, “Get out!”

At the same time, Christian Rafart was pushing guests around.

“He ended up punching one of the bridesmaids. She has a huge bruise on her face, she had to get sent to the hospital. He also pushed another bridesmaid on the floor,” said  Aixa Figueroa, who was at the wedding.

Wedding guests became frantic as Albisu began yelling at everyone to get out while pointing a gun at several people.

“Before I knew it, I was staring down the barrel of his gun, and, at that moment, when I saw his eyes, I was prepared to be killed and was coming to terms with the fact that my children were about to lose their dad for no reason,” DJ Richhomie wrote.

“He threatened my uncle, my cousin, the bride, and her husband and put the gun point blank at their heads. The black shirt punched our Homegirl Wendy in the mouth. She now has a contusion and internal bleeding; owner pushed my friend Erin out of the way as you see. The owner slapped the phone out of Natalie, who’s recording hand with the gun. I’m not ok at all; I’m mentally a mess I can’t get this scene out of my head.”

Rafart was charged with simple battery, while Albisu was transported to the Broward County Jail and faced nine counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. He is being held without bond.
