[Video] Florida Sheriff: ‘Absolute Miracle’ – Man Survives Wild Gas Station Crash
Anthony Katosh, 37, of Floral City, is in big trouble today after shocking surveillance video released by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office showed him speeding in his car and crashing through the front entrance of a Seffner gas station just as a man entered, propelling him to the other side of the store and pinning him.

The video shows the victim walking into the Travel Centers of America at 11706 Tampa Gateway Boulevard just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning and being slammed by Katosh and his Kia Forte from behind.
The victim was thrown across the store and pinned between the driver’s side door of the car and a metal structure as debris flew throughout the store, with shocked employees and customers narrowly avoiding being hit.
Fire rescue crews responded, and Kia’s victim and driver, Katosh, were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“The footage of the car smashing through this business and straight into a victim is jarring, to say the least,” Hillsborough Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement. “It is an absolute miracle that the person pinned by the car did not sustain more serious injuries, and we’re glad to hear he will be ok.”

Officials said the driver of the car, Anthony Katosh, 37, was later charged after detectives determined the crash was not accidental.
Katosh was charged with criminal mischief of $1,000 or more and was also Baker Acted, according to officials with HCSO.
