[Video] Chaos as Protesters Rush Stage During DeSantis Speech
A fundraiser for the New Hampshire GOP descended into chaos Friday night after two protesters stormed the stage in the middle of an address by Ron DeSantis. The Florida governor appeared startled as two women climbed approached the podium, attempting to unfurl a banner while chanting “Jews against DeSantis, Jews against DeSantis.” After security intervened and escorted the protesters off stage, DeSantis quickly regained composure, and cracked a joke at the activists’ expense.
“You’ve got to have a little spice in the speech. You’ve got to have a little fun,” DeSantis quipped.
“Why do you want to pay the ticket for that to get in? But different strokes for different folks.”

The scene unfolded within the first five minutes of DeSantis’ address. The protesters’ attempt to thwart the Florida governor’s address was short-lived however, and DeSantis watched on with amusement as they were quickly removed. The Florida governor’s subsequent comments drew laughter from the audience.
The duo reportedly stormed the stage in protest of DeSantis’ planned upcoming trip to Israel, according to the left-wing pro-Palestinian Jewish activist group “IfNotNow.” In the video, the lettering on the group’s banner reads, “Ron DeSantis: Loves Israel, Hates Jews.”
The Florida Governor is expected to travel to Jerusalem on April 27, where he will deliver the keynote address for the “Celebrate the Faces of Israel” conference. In a March statement announcing his trip, DeSantis described current U.S.-Israeli relations as “strained” and says he intends to heal the divide.
“At a time of unnecessarily strained relations between Jerusalem and Washington, Florida serves as a bridge between the American and Israeli people.”

After the chaos subsided, DeSantis resumed his address and touted his record in Florida, while also sneaking in a few jabs at the White House,
“I don’t have time for drama… We don’t have leaks, we don’t have drama, all we do is get the job done, day after day, and what that means is we beat the left day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year.”
