Urn hurling naked man arrested in Florida after argument
After throwing a glass urn containing a family member’s ashes at someone, a naked man from Sebastian, Florida, was arrested early Saturday morning in Indian River County.
According to the Police Department in Sebastian, Florida, 46-year-old Scott Cornwell got into a heated argument with the victim – which escalated when Cornwell threw a glass-style urn at their head.

After officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim at a neighbor’s house – their face had multiple bloody swollen masses on it. The victim was then taken to the Sebastian Hospital, where it was discovered the victim had a fractured nasal cavity.
As officers began to surround Cornwell’s home, the victim told police that Cornwell owned numerous firearms. Police say that they tried to call Cornwell’s phone and even knocked on the windows of his house, but neither method worked to lure out Cornwell.
The Sebastian Police Department said the Florida resident left his house nude and was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault.
