Tucker Says Trump’s Dissent From ‘Pointless War’ Agenda Made Him ‘Blood Enemy’ of Establishment
Just hours after former President Donald Trump was arraigned on federal charges in Miami, ex-Fox News host Tucker Carlson launched the third installment of his new Twitter show, and did not pull any punches as he decried the weaponization of America’s government. During his new, 13-minute episode, Tucker railed against the “permanent Washington” war machine and singled out Trump as the “one guy” with a shot at becoming president who stands against the establishment agenda.
“Yes, Donald Trump is a flawed man,” Carlson said. “But his sins are minor compared to those of his persecutors.”
“In this life we don’t get to choose our martyrs, we can only choose our principles, and America’s are at stake.” ~ Ep. 3 Tucker on Twitter
The episode, entitled “America’s principles are at stake,” has been viewed more than 61 million times since its release.
“Because Joe Biden and his many allies from Chuck Schumer to Mitch McConnell to Paul Ryan and every single news anchor in all of television, all of them believe that Ukraine, its borders, its future, its infrastructure, all are more important that the town that you live in,” Carlson told his audience.
“Trump is the one guy with an actual shot of becoming president who dissents from Washington’s long-standing pointless war agenda. And for that, that one fact, they are trying to take Trump out before you can vote for him.”

The latest episode of Tucker on Twitter was published in spite of a cease and desist letter issued by Fox News, which threatened Carlson with legal action if he did not discontinue his program. Carlson reportedly still maintains a contract with the network despite being benched last April, including a noncompete clause lasting until the end of 2024.
Carlson’s own lawyers have rejected the network’s terms however, with Harmeet Dhillon, a member of his legal team, writing in a statement Monday that “Fox News continues to ignore the interests of its viewers, not to mention its shareholder obligations.”
Carlson himself also appeared emboldened on Tuesday despite receiving the cease and desist, even referencing his old employer by name before showing footage of a Fox & Friends interview with Mike Pompeo, who he accused of “undermining” Trump’s agenda while in office.
Pompeo, along with Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, and Lindsey Graham, were named by Carlson as key members of the “neocon war machine” who praised Trump while in office, only to betray him at the first convenient moment.

Mike Pompeo hammers Trump on Fox: “Trump had classified docs when he shouldn’t have had them, and when given the opportunity to return them he chose not to do that .. That’s inconsistent with protecting America’s soldiers .. some of these were pretty serious, important docs.” pic.twitter.com/BXVTVPBvnt

“It’s been inevitable since February 16, 2016,” Carlson said of Trump’s arrest, referencing the then-candidate’s GOP primary performance where he called the invasion of Iraq a “big, fat mistake.”
“They lied. They knew there were no weapons of mass destruction,” ~ Donald Trump, Feb. 16, 2016
That moment, Carlson said, cemented Trump as “a blood enemy of the largest and most powerful organization in human history, which would be the federal government.”
The host added that it was “the precise moment that permanent Washington decided to send Donald Trump to prison.”
