he Carusos, Florida Rep. Mike Caruso, R-West Palm Beach, and wife Tracy, are not a couple that let the grass grow under their feet. Mike’s wife, Tracy, declared for her husband’s seat just minutes after the couple announced his re-election at their watch party on Nov. 5th.
Mike Caruso, who was just reelected in Florida House District 87 by a massive 19 points, will be term-limited out in 2026.
If you’re a gambling person, head over to a casino, you’ll get better odds there than you’ll get betting against Tracy Caruso.
Tracy and I met a few years ago. She became an Editor at large for FloridaJolt, and I spotted her talent right away. I’ll share more about Tracy’s impressive bio later.
Working with Tracy has been a trip. Tracy is literally a force of nature. She has a deep understanding of policy and actually reads legislation. On the same day, she’ll go to a breakfast meeting, then a Health Care District Board meeting, a board she was appointed to by Gov. DeSantis, knock on doors for a few hours, and then go to a gala charity event. Just hearing about her days makes me want to take a nap. No one outworks Tracy Caruso.
Tracy Caruso is bright, talented, and hard-working. She gets things done, and her problem-solving skills are second to none. She’ll be a great addition to the Florida Legislature.

I’ve been bouncing around politics in Palm Beach County since 1992, and I’ve met and worked with more politicians and operatives than I can remember. I’ve worked with some great ones and a lot of mediocre, if not downright imbecilic, ones, and I’ll tell you this: Tracy Caruso ranks right up there with the best I’ve worked with, and she’ll make a great legislator.
Tracy Caruso is a valuable conservative voice for Palm Beach County and will continue to advocate for our community as a member of the Florida House.

Only a gadfly-type Republican would be crazy enough to run against Tracy in a primary because they’d get massacred. Tracy has a lot of friends, she campaigns hard, real hard, and she’ll raise a ton of money. On a personal note, I’ll pound any Republican Primary opponent of Tracy’s harder than my Grandma pounded veal cutlets.
I truly believe that Tracy Caruso will be an incredible representative for our state. She knows the district better than anyone and genuinely cares about the community’s needs. The only challenge we might face is that her brilliance could outshine her husband, the current state representative! All joking aside, they are an incredible power couple, and they both deeply care about the people they serve.

Tracy Caruso’s Bio
Tracy Caruso is the President/Owner of Delray Beach Executive Suites, an executive office suite business on Atlantic Avenue in The Set area of Delray Beach, leasing to over 100 different businesses. She is also a writer and Editor at Large for Florida Jolt. Tracy currently serves as a Commissioner for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County. She was appointed by Governor DeSantis. Tracy is a former mayoral candidate for Delray Beach who was appointed by then County Mayor David Kerner to the Palm Beach County Housing and Finance Authority. She is the current Chair of that board. Tracy is a certified rape crisis counselor and trained literacy advocate who has worked with adults to teach them how to read and write. She ran a reading and mentoring group for high school girls to help them discover their career goals and guide them through the college admissions process. She is the former chair of the Delray Beach Historic Preservation Board. She’s worked on the joint Holocaust task force, and she was a committee chair for Palm Beach County Cares. Tracy is married to State Representative Mike Caruso. She’s a stepmother of 7 and a mother of 2 toy poodles.
