Top Dem Twitter Influencer Outed as Bot, Reportedly Linked to Belgian Consulting Firm
Democratic operative Erica Marsh has grown to become one of Twitter’s most prominent left-wing influencers, consistently finding herself at the center of debate on the platform and expanding her audience to more than 130,000 followers. Marsh, who describes herself as a former volunteer for the Obama Foundation and field organizer for the 2024 Biden campaign, frequently feuds with top conservatives on the platform. She also does not exist.
This week, Twitter suspended the ‘Erica Report’ account, fueling suspicions over the identity of its owner. While the company did not explain its decision, there is a mountain of evidence that Marsh was not who she said she was.
Greg Boulden, a podcaster and host of America Emboldened, says the account is not even based in the United States. According to his investigation, which is now posted to Twitter, the account is linked to the Belgian consulting firm “Rhinestone,” operated by SEO consultant Michael Zachrau.
A reverse Google image search of Erica Marsh’s profile picture also yields a link to Rhinestone’s website.

Michael Zachrau is behind the liberal dystopian bot triggering conservatives.
He’s a digital marketing, SEO, who labeles himself as “social selling”.
Let that sink in. Social selling.

“When democrats talk about the support for their candidates, and create bots as influencers, this is path modeling. It’s a scientific method to change the hearts and minds of people to peddle influence over the masses,” Boulden wrote on Twitter. “This IS the election interference we have been warned about.”
It’s also important to note, they are hiring firms to create the divide. This is not exclusive to democrats. You should question all divisive content that aims to manufacture outrage with no balance.” ~ Greg Boulden [@RealGregBoulden]
For the past eight months that the Erica Marsh persona had existed on Twitter, its owner has excelled at manufacturing outrage. After building a following and consistently carrying water for Democrat causes, Marsh published a shocking Tweet criticizing the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down affirmative action. On Saturday, ‘Marsh’ claimed that “No Black person” would be “able to succeed in a merit-based system.”
“Today’s Supreme Court decision is a direct attack on Black people. No Black person will be able to succeed in a merit-based system which is exactly why affirmative-action based programs were needed. Today’s decision is a TRAVESTY!!!” ~ Erica Marsh [@ericareport] on June 29, 2023.
“This so-called ‘Erica Marsh‘ verified account is a fake AI bot account,” Left-wing operative Ron Filipkowski wrote on Twitter following the tweet. Adding that the account “is used to post outrageous things,”
“Block this fraud as I did long ago,”

After the Belgian-linked account posted the now-infamous affirmative action Tweet, an uproar was sparked on Twitter, with liberals desperately trying to distance themselves from the account.
“No black person? Really?” Liberal activist Ed Krassenstein wrote on Twitter in response. “Is Erica Marsh even a real person? It’s stuff like this that makes people on the left seem extreme. Obviously, most democrats do not feel this way.”

Meanwhile, conservatives took the opportunity to point and laugh across the aisle.
“Wow… I’m not even sure this Erica Marsh is a real person? But she speaks for Democrats,” one commenter wrote. “She just told ALL BLACK PEOPLE, liberals included, that they aren’t smart enough to do things w/o government help because of their skin color! The Democrat Plantation still owns slaves.”
“To be honest, it wasn’t that hard to make a fake Erica Marsh Democrat influencer account. You just had to tweet out dumb racist shit all day” ~ Vince Langman [@LangmanVince]
Less than two days after Boulden’s investigation, ‘Erica Marsh’ was suspended from the social media platform.
Zachrau has denied being behind the account and has since threatened to sue Boulden for defamation.
