Rubio Campaign Volunteer Brutally Beaten

A republican campaign volunteer was brutally beaten in Hialeah, Florida, by a group of four people who told him Republicans weren’t allowed in the area, according to Florida Senator Marco Rubio.

The volunteer was a canvasser for the Marco Rubio Senatorial Campaign and wore a Rubio shirt and a DeSantis hat. One neighborhood he went to canvass was not welcoming. Rubio tweeted on the matter.

“Last night one of our canvassers wearing my T-shirt and a Desantis hat was brutally attacked by 4 animals who told him Republicans weren’t allowed in their neighborhood.”

The canvasser’s injuries were severe.

Rubio detailed the extent of the canvasser’s injuries.

“He suffered internal bleeding, a broken jaw & will need facial reconstructive surgery.”

Some left-wing skeptics responded to the violence with denial, insinuating that Rubio is a liar and that such an attack is impossible in the majority red area of Hialeah.

One Twitter user claimed the beating was taken voluntarily.

Another even justified the violence because Rubio and “Magats” are just that bad.

However, support for the canvasser’s plight and concern for the violence quickly poured in.

Right-wing commentator Dave Rubin predicted that CNN wouldn’t cover the politically inconvenient story and asked for a go-fund-me link for the canvasser’s medical costs.

Others pointed out how the event supports the now-old contradiction that the democratic party is one of tolerance.

The attack comes in the aftermath of a recent Biden speech, where he called “MAGA Republicans” threats to the republic” and “Semi-fascists.”

But above all, Twitter users simply called for peace and warned people to stay safe.
