Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently dropped a new campaign ad with a unique angle: that leftists, celebrities, and members of the Lincoln Project hate him even more than former President Trump.
The ad tweeted by the DeSantis War Room Twitter account saw a montage of leftist celebrities and micro-celebrities warning about DeSantis and expressing fear about his actions if elected to their audiences.

The opening clip of the montage shows Trevor Noah comparing former president Trump and the Florida Governor to characters in the Terminator franchise.
“If Trump was the original Terminator, DeSantis is like the T-1000,” Noah said.
Another on-screen personality called the governor “a more disciplined extremist” than Trump.
While on the surface, these sound like condemnations, when coming from leftist personalities and the mainstream media, their ringing endorsements to a conservative’s ears.
“Ron DeSantis is far more dangerous than Donald Trump,” one interviewee on MSNBC said. ” He’s more savvy, he’s more coy, and he doesn’t have the pitfalls that Donald Trump does.”
Other personalities called DeSntis “scarier,” “strategic,” “competent,” ” cunning,” “not an incompetent administrator like Donald Trump was,” and “not a clown.”
One of the major themes of the video was the near-universal agreement from leftist commentators that DeSantis would be more effective at enacting policy than Donald Trump was. Leftist podcaster David Pakman was one of the featured individuals delivering that message.
“He may actually be able to do a lot of the things Trump merely wanted to do but failed to do. ….The Trump agenda would be far more likely to be carried on by people less cartoonishly problematic, and Ron DeSantis is a perfect example of such an individual.”
Jeff Timmer, senior advisor to the infamous Lincoln Project, a group of so-called Republicans created to oppose Trump, marched to the same drum.
“The real reason this man is so terrifying is because he’s succeeded in areas where Trump has failed,” Timmer said.
TImmer has also tweeted his distaste for the Florida Governor.
“Ron DeSantis is the worst candidate I’ve ever seen. It’s like he’s been assembled from the discarded spare parts of Bobby Jindal, Bill de Blasio, Rick Perry, and Scott Walker,”

Newly elected Florida Congressman Maxwell Frost even appeared, going so far as to call DeSantis a “threat to democracy.”
“If you thought Donald Trump was bad, you got another thing coming….DeSantis actually knows the system.” Frost said. “He’s a threat to our democracy and– he’s a threat….People need to realize this and I’m trying to talk about it as much as possible because it’s really scary. It’s really scary.”
To many conservatives, all of which does nothing but render DeSantis more attractive.
