More than two dozen illegal immigrants were flown hundreds of miles into the US interior by a private jet, according to California investigators. The illegal immigrants, who arrived through the Texas border, were left outside of a Sacramento Catholic church.
Though the state of California has been directed to find the culprit by Governor Gavin Newsom, no individual or organization has yet been identified.
The California governor has welcomed the migrants with open arms, claiming he’ll be working with local officials and non-profits to “ensure the people who have arrived are treated with respect and dignity and get to their intended destination as they pursue their immigration case.”

Despite California being a proud “sanctuary state” that provides extensive public services for illegals, Newsom has indicated that the perpetrators will face prosecution.
“My Administration is also working with the California Department of Justice to investigate the circumstances around who paid for the group’s travel and whether the individuals orchestrating this trip misled anyone with false promises or have violated any criminal laws, including kidnapping.” ~ California Governor Gavin Newsom
Newsom and California Attorney General Rob Bonta allege that the migrants came from Florida as part of the Republican effort to send illegals to sanctuary states. Despite the leftist pro-illegal virtue signaling, especially from Newsom and California Democrats, the self-induced migrant crisis has ravaged America’s cities and, as evidenced by the investigation and prosecutorial rhetoric, left a bad taste in the governor’s mouth.
California AG Bonta went as far as calling the incident “state-sanctioned kidnapping” in a press release, saying,
“We can confirm these individuals were in possession of documentation purporting to be from the government of the State of Florida. While we continue to collect evidence, I want to say this very clearly: State-sanctioned kidnapping is not a public policy choice, it is immoral and disgusting.”
“We must condemn the cruelty and hateful rhetoric of those, whether they are state leaders or private parties,” he continued, “who refuse to recognize humanity and who turn their backs on extending dignity and care to fellow human beings.”

While Newsom has been unapologetic about the desolate condition of his state, Big Apple Mayor Eric Adams said in April that “[New York] City is being destroyed by the migrant crisis.”
California and New York, states already afflicted by widespread poverty and homelessness, have become the focal points of the migrant crisis. New York City has been hit particularly hard by the migrant crisis, housing tens of thousands and needing desperate federal financial aid to bear the immense cost of the social services the illegal immigrants use.
The “sanctuary” of illegal immigrants in both states has siphoned much-needed resources from poverty-stricken American citizens. With the Biden administration continuing to abet the flooding of tens of thousands of illegal immigrants over the southern border, even Democrats are beginning to lose control of the rapidly-spiraling situation.
