Prosecutors: OnlyFans Influencer Clenney Is A Flight Risk

Newly released photos of OnlyFans influencer model Courtney Clenney show the star covered in bruises, and her defense attorneys say they prove that Clenney was acting in self defense when she killed her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli. Clenney’s attorneys also want her released on house arrest.

Clenney, 26, is facing second-degree murder charges after she stabbed Obumseli, 27, in the chest at a Miami apartment while the two argued on April 3rd.

Her attorneys are claiming she stabbed him in self-defense and a day earlier she was visibly shaken and fearful as she accused him of stalking her. Her lawyers also claim the photos earn her the right for house arrest, but prosecutors claim the bruises were already on her body in Instagram posts before the day of the killing.

Prosecutors also claim she is a ‘flight risk,’ since she can do her job as an OnlyFans model from anywhere in the world and had already begun moving money into her father’s bank account. She transferred $1.1 million through wire transfers into the account after she killed Obumseli.

For those of you unfamiliar with the story let’s recap.

Investigators state that on April 3rd, Clenney stabbed Obumseli in the heart with a kitchen knife. Clenney told investigators that she acted in self-defense when Obumseli grabbed her by the throat. Investigators found large pools of blood in different levels of the condominium indicating Obumseli was bleeding a long time.

Clenney also claimed that she threw the knife at Obumseli from a distance of about 10 feet, but Dade County Chief Medical Examiner, Kenneth Hutchins, is not convinced. The autopsy shows the knife penetrated approximately 8 centimeters (3.14 inches) into Obumseli’s chest and was positioned slightly downward.

Investigators also did not observe any marks on Clenney that would indicate she was grabbed by the throat. Clenney was released at the time as they believed it was possibly a case of self-defense, but ultimately an arrest was made as the forensic evidence started coming in.

Clenney’s defense team led by Frank Prieto stated that by denying the motion to limit the “adult“ content Clenney posts on her OnlyFans page, Judge Vizcaino would deprive his client of a fair and impartial jury, arguing:

“This is going to turn into a circus of media outlets publishing salacious materials which have nothing to do with guilt or innocence in this case

The defense also questioned the admittance of a February 21st video of Clenney and Obumseli in a violent argument that turned physical in their condominium elevator. Prieto stated that the video does not show what occurred prior to the fight and stated Obumseli was the aggressor.

‘It is a shame that the State Attorney’s Office is seeking to win this case in the court of public opinion by showing an irrelevant and likely inadmissible video of Courtney in an elevator getting physical with Obumseli’ and ‘The video does not depict the events leading up to what was captured in the video.’

Clenney who goes by the name Courtney Tailor on her OnlyFans account is currently being held in the Turner Knight Correctional Center in Dade County without bond, awaiting her December 19th trial. Clenney was arrested on August 10th, nearly four months after the April 3rd murder, at a rehabilitation center on Hawaii’s big island, where she was allegedly being treated for PTSD and substance abuse. Clenney was returned to Florida two days later after agreeing to waive her extradition hearing.
