Pixar’s Worst Opening Ever – Disney’s Woke Non-Binary ‘Elemental’ Movie Is A Bust
Disney, which owns Pixar, came out loud and proud opening weekend with a new movie, “Elemental,” which features its first non-binary character; yet there’s no pot of gold waiting for them at the end of this rainbow, as the movie was the lowest opening weekend for Pixar ever, earning only $29.5 million, according to the New York Times.

The customer is always right, but as the war on woke rages on in America, many companies don’t understand what their customers tell them: “We don’t like what you’re selling, and we’re not buying it.” Bud Light had its transgender Dylan Mulvaney fiasco, Target had its satanic pride message outrage, and Kohl’s had their pride boycott fiasco. Stocks plummeted from making these poor marketing decisions. Companies are in the business of making money. Still, none of them get that the only people interested in their virtue-signaling nonsense are their boards and marketing departments, not their customers.

Parents may have to learn to read between the lines if they want to make sure they’re not exposing their children to messages they may find inappropriate these days; it’s interesting to note that Disney’s description of “Elemental” on its movie site does not brag about their non-binary character. They describe the PG Animation, Comedy, Fantasy, Kids & Family movies this way;
Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental” is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where fire-, water-, land- and air residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted, and fiery young woman whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.
The disastrous opening weekend did not go unnoticed. The New York Times, Variety, and The Hollywood Reporter all wrote about the dismal opening weekend, with reports of the movie falling flat and being “iced by moviegoers.”

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT I got to play Pixar's first nonbinary character! Meet Lake!
I voice Lake in the new movie #Elemental! I'm seeing it in theaters tonight with my friends, so you can catch it in theaters too if you wanna see them. 💙 pic.twitter.com/6kBPGvCATE— 🛸 Kai Ava Hauser 🛸 (@JustAVoiceActor) June 16, 2023
“Elemental” did garner attention before the opening because of “Lake,” the first non-binary character in Pixar’s history. The actor who voiced Lake, Kai Ava Hauser, tweeted about it.
“BIG ANNOUNCEMENT I got to play Pixar’s first nonbinary character! Meet Lake! In the new movie #Elemental, I voice Lake,” voice actor Kai Ava Hauser wrote in a viral tweet with over 51,000 likes on the platform.” Fox Digital reported that the actor didn’t comment about the failing opening weekend.
Fox Digital reported that;
”Elemental” is the latest in a series of controversial movie and television decisions made by the entertainment giant this year. Disney announced earlier this year that there had been a 2.4-million subscriber loss to streaming service Disney+. Disney+ faced major controversy with shows such as “Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,” which included elements of Critical Race Theory and criticized Abraham Lincoln for not “caring” about ending slavery.
Go woke and go broke is the message Disney’s customers are sending them. The proof that the vast majority do not agree with or like this brainwashing nonsense is that they’re not spending dollars on it. Americans have the power of the purse, and money speaks louder than words.
