The Chair of the Republican Party of Palm Beach County has released the following statement in response to the Republican Mayor of Boca Raton, Scott Singer, endorsing Democrat Andy Thomson over Republican Peggy Gossett- Seidman in Florida Hosue District 91.
West Palm Beach, FL – Today Palm Beach County Republican Executive Committee Chairman Mike Barnett called on Republican Mayor Scott Singer to withdraw his endorsement of Biden Democrat Andy Thomson. Singer’s refusal would result in censure from his party and a call for all other Republicans to withdraw their support of him in his next election.
“Cozying up to a woke, tax and spend Biden Democrat like Andy Thomson is not something any Republican should be doing. By endorsing Thomson, Singer is endorsing open borders, bloated government budgets, and all of Thomson’s tax hike votes during his tenure on Boca’s City Council. I call on Mayor Singer to renounce his support for an ultra-partisan politician like Andy Thomson who will do nothing but what his party’s leaders tell him to when he gets to Tallahassee,” Barnett concluded. ~Mike Barnettt
