With Florida Democrats increasingly desperate and angry over the collapse of support for the Democratic Party and its candidates, many fear more violence and hate will be directed at innocent Republicans like the attack on a volunteer for Sen. Marco Rubio.
Rubio Campaign Volunteer Brutally Beaten
In a challenge to politicos and candidates everywhere, The Chairman of the Republican Party of Palm Beach County, Micahel Barnett, issued a statement condemning the attack.
“We simply cannot allow this violent attack to be tolerated on an American citizen who is exercising his political freedom to campaign for a candidate of his choice. We call on every political party organization and all political candidates in the State of Florida to join us in condemning the unacceptable violence. We send out best wishes to the young man who was attacked and his family. We pray for his full recovery.”
